My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Goodness, I'm going to be rubbish at this part. I'm a decently ok guy who nerds out about a lot of things, doesn't take himself too seriously and tries not to suck at life.

I'm a Librarian and occasionally a DJ. Though, as much as I love what I do, some days I wish there was a way to get paid to sit around coming up with names for bands. Sometimes I dress up in funny clothes and beat people with foam padded sticks, that said, probably not the best candidate for a knight in shining armor.

Just made a move back to Cleveland after a few years in various hinterlands.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in a job that I love, living in a beautiful area, making coffee in the morning, cooking tasty food. Delighting in the small things. I lead a charmed life and try to remember that whenever possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Becoming a fair hand at damn-near everything. I always enjoyed the jack-of-all-trades side of things. I tinker.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The beard, (I wasn't sure at first, but it's growing on me), the weighted companion cylinder that is my coffee mug, and the occasional bow tie. Also, bad jokes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is one of those things that's going to be a whole lot easier for you to ask than it will be for me to answer. I'd start lists, but they always keep changing.
So for right now...

Reading: Re-skimming all the Shakespeare I can to hash out lines for a one-act that resulted from a bad joke.

Listening: Passion Pit and the Ratatat Remixes

Watching: Catching up on things I've missed while not having a decent internet connection
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, music, coffee, conversation, humor, and living near water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Etymology, and that clever thing that I probably should have said a week ago.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Staying in more often than not. Working early on Saturdays is starting to take its toll. At the same time, I've done my fair share of closing bars on Friday nights, so I really don't mind taking a break these days.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Yeah, that "naughty librarian" stereotype, there are reasons.

You managed to read this far without getting as bored by it as one would expect.

You're cool like Kim Deal.

Also, since it's been an issue so far, sometimes I look a bit more like "Parks and Rec" Chris Pratt than "Guardians of the Galaxy" Chris Pratt. It comes and goes. I get if this is a deal-breaker.
