My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Have you ever noticed how every dating profile is basically the same? Me too. So rather than just list things about myself, like I'm trying to convince you I'd be a good employee, I'm going to describe a trip I took recently and the things I did there, and I'll trust you to be able to gather from that what I'm like.

In December 2014, I went to Belize for a week. It was my first time travelling abroad, and my first time flying alone and not staying with anyone, so I was a little bit nervous, but thankfully the world didn't implode and everything was okay. I took the only flights down and back that allowed me to travel without any overnight layovers, and I spent most of my travel time reading "A Storm of Swords."

While I was down there, I did a lot of scuba diving. I took my laptop with me so that I could stay in touch with people, but I didn't spend much time on it at all. My clients knew I would be unavailable, so that was all fine. I ate as much local food as I could, because I didn't fly to Belize to eat things I could get at home, and I came back with only one regret: I didn't bring an underwater camera.

And that's my trip to Belize, somehow boiled down to two paragraphs; I'm a magical man. As for you, magical woman, if you think you'd have liked that trip, or most of it, then we'll probably get along pretty well, and we should say hi to each other. You should know, though, that if you smoke, do drugs, or don't take care of your fitness, we will not be a match.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, music, giving epic massages, using logic, and not getting attacked by a jaguar. I've been told my smile is pretty good too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a tall Canadian man with a beard. People often say I look like Tom Green, but I don't see it. I also got Hans Gruber once, but that person was very drunk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favourite book is a specific copy of Jurassic Park, because reading it is what really got me into reading. If I ever chucked it all away to go live on an island somewhere, that copy of Jurassic Park would come with me, along with an extra pair of underwear.

I'm a fan of all music, but I'm a child of 90s music, because everyone sounded unique. Tea Party, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews, BNL, and Pearl Jam are all up there. For more recent bands, Within Temptation, USS, Macklemore, and Paramore. If I listed every band I like, you'd be reading for a long time.

I don't watch that much TV, but I keep up with Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Big Bang Theory, the NCISes, Sherlock, and Grimm. There were others, but I've outlasted them. I also enjoy The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and Last Week Tonight.

I like a well made movie regardless of genre. My all-time favourites are Shawshank Redemption and Princess Bride, and Christopher Nolan can't seem to make a bad one. Marvel is killing it right now. If a movie has a shark with legs in it, I'm interested.

I'll read anything if you let me. Among the books I've read recently are The Hobbit, The Tao of Pooh, Storm of Swords, Frankenstein, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

And for food, I like yes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
Music
Creative outlets
A challenge
Friends/family
Good food
Exercise
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The next song I'm working on, and how it always seems to be taking over my life. Where I'd like to travel to next. Why mice in hats are so cute.

It is impossible to look menacing while eating a giant cookie.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hunting hobos for sport.

Just kidding, it's for food.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

...you think we'd get along. We won't know unless we try, right? And if you know what Grifball is, that's good too.
