My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I sing, I dance, I think a lot. I philosophize to the point of self-irritation. I'm very deliberate and I usually can draw correct conclusions from disparate and seemingly unconnected information. It's all about the details.

I am an asshole. I am the first ethical asshole in what I hope well be a long tradition of ethical assholes.

I understand power exchange. It's one of the reasons I dance. If you don't know what that is, please ask me. I've been complimented on my shibari skills, which have been professionally photographed.

I also teach theory and practice for BDSM and kink. If you want to know about public seminars or private coaching, feel free to contact me.

I do not eat high fructose corn poison (HFCS) if I can at all avoid it. This has been my achievement of the past 3 years or so, and I'm very proud of that. I'm not a health nut, but I care about my body and health.

I am focused, observant, and deductive.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've got lots of projects in the works, from podcasts to afternoon seminars, a part time job, part time business, full time school and active social life... That's me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Lots of things.

I'm a professional jeweler and goldsmith. I once made someone cry when I returned their jewelry after fixing it, it was so good. After sizing a ring, I've been told, "My ring didn't look this good new!" I've set over 220 individual diamonds in 2 rings. All par for the course, for me. I'm really damn good at my job.

I also set people on fire for fun and profit. While flashy (pun alert!), it's not the most important of my skills. I'm so awesome, you wouldn't believe me when I tell you.

But I have references.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. They're so dark it's almost impossible to see where the iris ends and pupil begins. There are two lighting circumstances where you can see the demarcation line.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Fantasy and Science Fiction, especially Robert Heinlein, Orson Scott Card, David Drake, Weber and Ringo for military science fiction, others that don't come to mind right now. I've been enjoying a lot of business tips books, non-traditional marketing ideas and some personal organization outlines. Enlightening stuff.

Movies: SERENITY!! Other than that, don't care much, I watch what's there, but don't often. I'm too active to sit for 2 hours except with friends, movie night or some such, and then we're snarking on the movie as much as watching it. My favorite movies of all time include The Sting, The Quiet Man, Sabrina (the original, with Bogey) and Rebecca (the Hitchcock version was great, but the remake was awfully good, too).

Music: Actually, I'll listen to most any music, as long as it's musical. I enjoy Celtic traditional and traditional based music, folk, pop, indy-pop, rock of almost all sub-genres, as long as it's not so hard that you loose melody, harmony and rhythm. I've even been known to listen to some country songs, though I prefer modern bluegrass. Chris Thile is my current fav. I found an artist called Unwoman out of San Francisco, and she's awesome on so many levels.

The XX.

Foods: I make most of my own food. I rarely go out to eat. I have a wide variety of styles I like, depending on my mood. As long as it's good, and relatively healthy. Or just good. I've become very fond of sushi recently. I'm increasing my skill with Asian food (Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, Korean).

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Feh. Material objects hold no importance to me. They exist only to facilitate my interaction with PEOPLE. To this end, the following have helped me greatly: Cell Phone, Computer, Internet access, Car, Hands-free for phone, and my stove. That's right, I use my stove as a socialization tool.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why people do what they do, and what patterns of behavior indicate likely future behavior.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be anything. Sometimes I go out with friends, sometimes I stay in with friends, sometimes I go to Late Night at the Museum with friends... Usually something with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My therapist said I'm cured.
