My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born and raised a Jersey girl, where I owe my strength of being a go-getter, adventerous spirit & personal individuality from as I am also a fashion designer and artist. I currently reside in NYC, but I try to escape the city as much as possible. I love to travel the world, whether for work or play, and gather as much inspiration for my next painting or art project. I'm a lot better with my art/pictures than I am with words, so bare with me as trying to write about myself isn't my forte.
I love the beach, Jersey Shore, Asbury Park really... And if you don't know what that is, we can't be friends... But if you really want to know, I can help you out, cause I'm good like that, spending time with my friends & family drinking tea and laughing, and trying to figure out when & how to make my next art actually come about. Apt living is cramping my art style! There's only so much you can do in these small spaces. My ideas are bigger than my apt, and I'm pretty sure my roommates wouldn't appreciate me working on those types of projects in our space.
Yes, I have 2 wonderful roommates, that are like my sisters to me. We do a lot together, and have a blast while doing so.
I also have 2 sisters, I'm the middle child, and I'm told I have middle child syndrome, but I'm gonna plead the fifth on that one.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My day job is being a Production Manager/Technical Designer at a knitwear company, moved up from being a designer at my company.
Night job is being an artist. I'm still trying to figure out the whole art world thing, and I've sold a couple of my pieces/been commissioned for a few as well. It feels good that people respond well to my art, so it motivates me to keep it up. I had my first art show recently, and even though I was nervous to show, now I can't wait to plan my next one.

my style, which could be a good thing or.... Let's just say I have interesting pieces in my wardrobe and I'm not afraid to wear them. I guess being in the fashion industry gives me the opportunity and freedom to explore different trends.

Books: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series, The Hunger Games series, The DaVinci Code, The Birth of Venus... I used to read a lot more when I commuted from NJ, but now that my commute to work is 18 mins door-to-door, it makes reading books tougher.
TV: Breaking Bad, Modern Family, Girls, Boardwalk Empire, MadMen, Downton Abbey, Louis C. K., The Amazing Race, House Hunters International, Project Runway and a few more favorite design shows on HGTV.
Music: Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, the Lumineers, Guster, Of Monsters & Men, P!nk

That I one time tried to ride a skateboard.

Lets just say that there's a whole story about that damn skateboard ride which I will prob never live down (or my sister won't let me live down), so if you're nice enough I'll be willing to share it with you.

I am also accepting offers if someone wants to teach me how to properly ride a skateboard.

That is all.
