In June I left my job to work for the New York Film Academy at Harvard. In the past I have been much more social than I have been in the past few years. I built a wall around myself, the very same wall that Pink Floyd warned us about way back in 1979. In college I always said I could imagine myself in my 30s with a family and kids but I could never imagine what I would do in my 20s after college. I always assumed I would go to jail, which doesn't makes sense because I hardly ever break the law, certainly never a felony. So I went to grad school, worked in access tv (aka high school basements and town hall attics), built the wall, as mentioned, and I am greatly regretting it.
That being said the past few months at my new job have made me much more social which I am grateful for. Working with people everyday is pretty great for me.
