My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll just put it out there right now that I have an awesome girlfriend, kaygal, who I would do anything for. I'm always up for making new friends, but there will be nothing more than that.

I'm probably one of the nicest and most loyal people you'll ever meet, and I'm not trying to toot my horn. I'd go to the line for my friends in a heartbeat. My job puts me in a position where I can help people who are in difficult positions, and it's very rewarding when I can do just that.

I love cycling. I bought a road bike last year and I'm totally addicted. There's no feeling like the one you get on a long, hard ride. I've also become a big fan of pro cycling and I follow it as closely as possible. It's a dream of mine to get back over to Europe and follow the Tour de France or the Giro d'Italia. Other than cycling, I'm also a hockey fan, cursed to have the Sabres as my favorite team. Maybe someday they'll win something...?

I'm also very much into music. My tastes center around progressive and/or European metal, but there are plenty of surprises in my iTunes as well. I've played guitar for over 10 years now, and would like to learn more instruments, especially piano and drums.

I'm planning to move late this year to wherever my girlfriend ends up for her residency. I'm looking forward to starting this new chapter of my life, but I'm a little sad to leave Buffalo behind. There's a lot that I'll miss here.

I am unbelievably, awesome, and spectacular
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Biding time until I say goodbye to New York. In the meantime, I'm a claims rep for a major auto insurance company. I'm coming up on a year on the job and I've really disliked it at times, but I'm learning to like it a little more. After all, it is what you make of it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people happy, staying up too late when I have to work in the morning, and procrastinating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be pretty withdrawn when I'm amongst strangers, so they probably don't notice me so much.

If I'm driving, they probably notice the really loud European metal coming from my car.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I've always been fond of the Hitchhiker's Guide series. Beyond that, I like espionage and crime novels.

Movies: I don't watch a ton of movies, but I've seen very few that I haven't enjoyed. Some that I like more than others are the Connery- and Brosnan-era Bond films, the Bourne trilogy and some of the Star Trek movies, especially First Contact.

Food: Some people have a sweet tooth. I've been accused of having a burger tooth. Other than burgers, I favor pizza and pasta.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Kari, my bike, my guitar, my Mac, my iPod, and sunlight.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...pretty much everything. Lately, I've been thinking about my impending move, where I'll end up, and generally looking forward to starting over.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sitting around being lazy after work. Yeah, I know I'm boring. :) Now that the weather is getting nicer, I'll be out on the bike.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to think nice guys really did finish last.
