My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I work in an awesome science museum in Center City, and when I'm not doing that, I'm trying my hand at writing. I'm also enthusiastically nerdy, and have a deep and abiding love for sci-fi, fantasy, video games, RPG's, and ren faires.

In addition to all of that, I really, really, REALLY enjoy cooking. I'm working on learning French cooking and I'm not that good at it right now, but dammit if I don't enjoy trying.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in a museum and, despite how rough it can be dealing with thousands of people on a daily basis, I generally really love it and enjoy making a career out of it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can cook an awesome burger, and am always looking to expand my skillset.

I also am awesome with trivia, and could probably hold my own in quizzo if I ever bothered to go out and try it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You can't see it too well in any of my photos (since my hair is generally cut a lot shorter than it appears in any of them), but my head is incredibly round. We're talking Karl Pilkington round.

Also, my beard is a different color than the hair on my head.

I love fantasy and sci fi, as well as medieval history and anything having to do with the intersection of religion and politics.

I'm a huge fan of Akira Kurosawa's movies, but my tastes are really all over the place when it comes to films.

I'll listen to just about anything. Right now, I'm into: The Pogues, The Dubliners, Huun-Huur-Tu, Malajube, Katzenjammer, Sigur Ros, Gogol Bordello, the Tossers, Zaz, and Feist, just to name a few.

Food...if it doesn't include squash, beets, or bugs, I'll probably enjoy it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Making weird faces in photos
2. QI
3. Mystery Science Theater 3000
4. Steam
5. My iPod
6. Reddit
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, giant robots, outer space, and Game of Thrones
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably watching QI
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once accidentally pissed off Jon Bon Jovi, got to see his reaction to it, and have been extraordinarily proud of that achievement ever since.

Also I used to be super into anime when I was in high school, but I thankfully recovered from that nonsense about ten years ago.
