My self-summary
Hi!First thing's first, no married or attached men. I think of myself as open-minded about most things but I want to find someone who's into monogamy and me as much as I will be into him. I'm a proud and intelligent Agnostic, I listen to Real Radio 104.1 (comedy talk radio) pretty much all the time, especially in the mornings. I listen to A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan podcast whenever I can. Yes, I'm a #BDM. Listen and you'll learn what that is.
My newest interest is Geocaching, I've only had a GPS for a little more than a year and already have more than 210 finds! If you don't know already, geocaching is a GPS based treasure hunt and there's more than a million hidden in the world and at least 1699 hidden around the Orlando area.
For the past 6 years or so I have enjoyed volunteering for the Florida Film Fest and the Orlando International Fringe Festival. This enables me to see more than a dozen films/performances for free as a perk (way more than I could have afforded to see otherwise).
I usually travel the less beaten path, I have no kids and have never been married, not that I object to the latter, it's just that the right one hasn't come along yet. I've been engaged before and lived with my ex-fiancee' in harmony for seven years...it was an amicable break-up and we both have moved on.
I have a great appreciation for most things considered alternative...music, films, art and especially people. I enjoy comedy and comedy clubs, camping, flea markets, antiques, day trips in the car, canoeing, trivia, films, concerts and trying new things.

I am clever, hip, and sardonic.
What I’m doing with my life
If I'm not busy working or volunteering then I'm probably in the process of trying to tackle some sort of DIY project as I've owned my own home/villa since I was 22.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at listening, problem solving, being creative, getting along, being appreciative, having inexpensive fun, bargain hunting and showing affection. I seem to know just a little bit about a whole lot of things which is probably why I tend to be pretty good at trivia. I know just enough about pop culture, film, art, music, comedy, architecture, construction, DIY home improvement, interior design, furniture, spelling, sociology and human behavior to either be intriguing or annoying depending on your own perspective and knowledge level.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first things people usually notice about me are probably my blond hair, my big Italian butt and the fact that I'm usually smiling or laughing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(A)both of Howard Stern's books, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Hunter S. Thompson, Carlos Castaneda, Interior Design Magazines (B) Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, Borat,As Good as it Gets, Willy Wonka, most comedies and lots of foreign and indie films (Enzian is awesome) (C) Retro progressive (old new wave), 90's Industrial Nitzer Ebb, Ska English Beat, Reggae UB40, Ziggy Marley, Third World, Soft 70's, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers Classic Rock, New Rock, Alternative Rock, some Electronic (D) Thai, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, steak, BBQ everything, bread, potatoes, salads and soups.
The six things I could never do without
Laughter, Learning, Love, Yummy food, Hugs and Hope.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
so many things...I need to become less of a thinker and more of a doer.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually doing something I've found that's either inexpensive or free but always fun. Like using my free Enzian passes that I earned from volunteering at the Florida Film Festival.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
that I'm what most would consider a BBW (big beautiful woman)...I'm not proud of that title nor do I hang out in the BBW clubs, but that doesn't change the facts. There is definitely a thinner and more fit girl trapped inside of me who wants to get out, in fact, it's not even that difficult for me to lose weight and get in shape when I put my mind to it, it's just getting my mind to that point that's the difficulty. And if you're into a thicker girl, you don't have to despair, this butt and these hips will never disappear completely, this is just how I'm built...I've been told I have the figure of a milkmaid. I'm not unhealthy or diabetic although I am asthmatic which tends to be less of a problem the more time I spend exercising. What I'd love is to find someone who would support and motivate me in my quest to better myself, or even better, if he joined me!
I’m looking for
  • Straight guys only
  • Ages 34–54
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you'd enjoy spending an evening playing Curtis Earth trivia at a local bar (Curtis Rocks!) or catching an indie or foreign flick at The Enzian, going for a walk at night or just sitting around talking about whatever. If you don't live in Central Florida then I'm sorry but I'm really not interested in trying to carry on a long distance thing. **Also, and most importantly, you should be mentally, emotionally and financially stable (I don't mean rich) and you should know better than to be trying to find someone to date if you are not.**
