My self-summary
I've settled back into NYC after heading out to Chicago for college and then a couple of years working in Europe and the Middle East. I lived in London when I was a kid, and was a traveler from an early age, which left me with a persistent curiosity in foreign places and people. Hopping around a couple of continents more recently was totally worth it, but I definitely appreciate being back.

Sports used to be a big part of my life when I was younger (soccer, softball, tennis, horseback riding), but now that I'm paying bills, I make sure to break a sweat a few times a week--whether spinning, running, etc. I still genuinely like sports. Yes, I know [most of] the rules and how to play. But it stops there...I won't be crashing your Fantasy draft with the guys in the Spring.

Most of my family live close by, so we get together and hilarity ensues--I'm one of four siblings, which means I'm fluent in sarcasm and having a laugh, even at myself. I might sometimes tease you or crack a few jokes, and I can just as easily take a little heat right back. My family is important to me, and I see them fairly often.

I live to dance and joke around as much as I can--no matter the occasion or the attire. You'll always be able to find me and my friends on the dance floor and laughing, whether at a bar, wedding, or BBQ.

I really love living in New York, but find it's easy to default to routines: work, gym, dinner, repeat. I want to find someone who wants to explore -- whether it's restaurants, comedy clubs, neighborhood joints, or just the relentless pursuit of the perfect burger, slice of pizza, dive bar...I'm up for an adventure.
What I’m doing with my life
Maximizing laughs and moments with friends and family, trying new things, exploring new places, trying to always do better.
I’m really good at
puzzles, Taboo, drinking coffee, friendly games of tag football, cooking (certain things more than others), Scrabble, reminiscing about '90s Nickelodeon, consuming digital info. (partly for my job, partly because I want to keep discovering cool stuff).
The first things people usually notice about me
dimples, blue eyes, maybe some witty reparté.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Comedies are my fave, plus badass movies you can watch forever, like Goodfellas, Training Day, The Departed, Good Will Hunting, Shawshank Redemption, The Town, etc.

I love to read. I am one of those people who often finds their next book based on others' recommendations, and oddly, I haven't been disappointed in awhile.
The six things I could never do without
The real deal: connecting with friends near and far, music, my family, animals (the ones you can bond with), great coffee, intuition.

Good extras: Rainbow cookies (or really any soft-baked cookie), NYC in the fall, exploring foreign countries with the locals, playing with puppies, a really good workout.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Is something memorable going to happen today? Where can I travel to next? How do I become motivated to cook more often? How can I spend the most time having fun w friends after long days/weeks at work...the yuj.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully unwinding with some friends after a crazy week, which can go a variety of ways...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was on the show "Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?" when I was 11. I came in 2 out of 3. That little genius rallied in the final round...I almost had him. If you were a addicted to Nickelodeon in the 90s, then this clearly resonates with you.
