The elephant in the room:
Distance seems to be almost an instant deal breaker for most. My personal philosophy is that: “Distance is temporary, love is forever.” Statistically speaking, we encompass roughly 10% of the population. Subtract from that all of the “bad” for a handful of “good.” Sift through this for neigh the right guy.
I accepted long ago that most likely my match would not live right down the road. In the short-run, I do not allow it to prevent me from pursing the right guy, no matter where he may live. Ultimately, in the long-run, distance is insignificant. Distance should not be an issue for you either.
About me:
Like Frost, I have taken the road “less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” I have forged my own path, firstly, by obtaining my Bachelors of Science degree from Syracuse University in broadcast journalism and a minor in economics and, then, as an active duty military office for five-and-a-half years. I continue to serve in the Army Reserves and, currently, work for the medical school as a project coordinator. I work for a team of physicians who are specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorders that provide life-changing-patient support to a network of pediatricians from across the state. I have also toiled away in completing my prerequisites for graduate school, tutoring, observation/volunteer hours, and exercising/weight training.
To date, I have called thirteen locations home and have traveled the wide expanse of “sea to shining sea” to the far reaches of the world. I have had the good fortune and pleasure to interact and work with cultures, personalities, and perspectives different from my own that have been from all socioeconomic backgrounds and corners of the globe.
As this well-rounded and multifaceted foundation demonstrates, I am very open-minded, enjoy doing just about anything, and am willing to try most things at least once. I believe life should be well balanced and include all the many facets from health to education, entertainment, and culture; like a renaissance man.
Personally, I am very communicative/conversational, quick witted/sarcastic, intelligent, personable, and overall, just a nice guy.
