My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I tell chemistry jokes periodically. I usually get no reaction.

If you are into dry, witty, smart or punny humor I will probably want to be your friend for life. I love dad jokes. Sarcasm is also acceptable. Sass is my favorite.

Play (in the childish sense, mostly) is super important to me. You might say I take my playfulness very seriously. I think we learn best when we are playing, and learning is probably the most important thing in the world to me.

I am a feminist of the intersectional variety who cares a great deal about social issues. If any of that invokes any negative feelings for you, you will probably hate talking to me.

I am polyamorous and very much in love with my brilliant and inspiring partners Cogwerks and resetPhoenix. Polyamory (from Greek πολύ [poly], meaning "many" or "several", and Latin amor, "love") is the practice, desire, or acceptance of having more than one intimate relationship at a time with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved.

Intimate relationships are more than sex. Please don't ask me to hook up unless your idea of hooking up is forming a deep personal connection with a friend that you also sometimes sex.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work for a non-profit that shall remain nameless here cause.... you know, dating site.

I generally have a project or two in the works aimed at learning a little more about the world and generally creating a sense of awe and wonder. Currently I have installed a 10 gallon micro-pond in my bedroom so that I can observe the relationships among the various organisms in the tank and inspire questions that are exciting to find the answers to.

I adopted two roosters that my roommates intended to eat (I live on a farm) and am currently doing a study on the intelligence and capacity for empathy that chickens posess. I will be posting my findings online as I find the time.

I also usually have a few art projects on my mind and I enjoy merging art and science projects into a delightful mess of wonder and creativity.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Noticing things like the pollen on a bumble bee's legs or the way the light streams through the trees and hits the grass in a real pretty way.

Finding things to obsess over until I've learned enough to satisfy my curiosity and then move on to the next exciting question that needs answering.

Stumbling on cobblestone. (I like to tell myself it is adorable.)

Being indecisive. Why not both?!?!

Making rat pun names. I have three female rats (they are frelling awesome!) and their names are Cleoratra, Marilyn Monrat and Ratniss Everdeen.
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm told my smile is a thing that is pretty neat. Also, my glasses. They're pointy.
