My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a 20 something who occasionally clings to youth. Currently working in the thrilling world of make up to pay the bills. Movie buff, blogger, writer and day dreamer. I'm usually quiet at first but much louder over time. I enjoy karaoke as well as live comedy, live music and being terrible at karaoke.

I'm a modern day nerd, I love anything tech and especially all things Apple. Don't judge me I'm not a complete fangirl, only aprox 99.9%. I often find myself enjoying photoshop but I don't get many opportunities to talk to other people who do so if you happen to know anything about it (or anything else I'm interested in) I will become VERY excited.

I love to laugh and I especially love making people laugh although often it's laughing at my clumsiness. My friends say that I sometimes seem to live in the 80's, I don't have a perm or a mullet (although I am totally business meets party) but I do love 80's music, films and retro stuff e.g. cheesy 80's club nights. I've got the outfit to prove it.

I dabble in graphic design & web design in my spare time and I'm passionate about film making but unable to make a living out of either yet. I come from Essex but loved living in Greenwich while I studied. There is a unrelenting black hole in my heart for SE10. It's where I really grew up and learned key life skills like coconuts can be opened from a forth floor window and lifelong friendships can be formed over video games.

Did I mention I can probably drink you under the table?

I am Funny, Bright, and Wide-eyed.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work in an office further into Essex. I think it's the first time in my life I've commuted further out from London rather than further in. I love some aspects of my job and I adore some of the people I work with but my dreams do reach beyond my tedious admin job.

I'm also doing web and graphic design stuff on the side. Web editor stuff really but hell work is work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
the thriller dance. Proven.

I'm very commited to costumes. My Elphaba costume last Halloween was the talk of the town. And when I do a zombie costume I do it right.

I'm good at other things too but who doesn't want to read the thriller dance as the first answer? I guess a few others would be design, photography, baking, breathing and resident evil.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm friendly, my cheeks are poke-able and that I don't take myself too seriously.

Plus people normally hear me singing before they see me. So I guess the actual first thing they notice is that I can't hold a tune in a bucket, but yet I try.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm horrible at this because in a effort to illustrate my varied taste I tend to create a never ending list. So I shall attempt to sum up.
Movies: I love horrors, zombies flicks, comedy and occasionally a rom com. Oh I also enjoy a good drama.
Music: I love a bit of indie, punk, rock, 80's, old skool cheese. I also have a soft spot for soul, motown and jazz. It speaks to me.
Books: I love reading so I'll give most a chance. I love classic romance, pride and prejudice and the like. I really enjoy funny writing and non fiction. I try not to read trashy celeb life stories, so I tend to stick to the autobiographies of comedians.
Food: I'm quite fussy and then in some ways totally not. It's much easier to ask or find out at a later date. Although the influence of Tower Hamlets and some of my lovely work colleges has broadened my palette.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water.
Oxygen (probably).
Music.
iPhone/iMac.
Comedy.
Tetris.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Really random stuff. I spent 20 minutes thinking about going to the hairdressers the other day.

I have an over active imagination so occasionally day dreaming or inventing things in my head is the norm. I love to people watch, observing other people is an art form and should be treated as such.

I guess I also spend a lot of time thinking about my little projects. As much as I am a techno wizard I do love to make things. Baking, t-shirt printing, making random scrapbooks. Weird little creative things that pop into my head at random moments and that consume me until the next little project comes along. Especially if my project involves teaching myself something new.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing any number of things. Cinema, bar, night in. It varies on my mood but I rarely let the fact that it's a Friday dictate that I must go out. If I want to go out I do, if I want a night in I grab a blanket, movie and some wine.

Who says I can't go out on a Tuesday? Because whoever said that isn't the boss of me.
