What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just started my masters degree in architecture. I'm trying to find a balance between working my ass off and still having a social life. I'm new to New York so I'm trying to get as much exploring in as I can before winter comes. Got any suggestions???
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Here's what I gather from other people: Being a loyal, supportive friend, meaningful conversation, adventuring, road-tripping, cooking/BBQ, giving awesome massages, designing and creating things, photography, pool, hockey, soothing wounds, making people feel safe.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile and how my eyes get all squinty when it happens.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Slaughterhouse 5, A Brave New World, 2001 a Space Odyssey, Tintin (absolute childhood fav), The Watchmen, Unbroken, World War Z, Fight Club, Song of Fire and Ice.

Movies: Natural Born Killers, Apocalypse Now, The Thing, From Dusk till Dawn, Jackie Brown, Goodfellas, Dawn of the Dead (original), Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, Delhi Belly, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Layer Cake, Taken, Trainspotting, The Dark Knight, Children of Men, Bladerunner.

Shows: American Horror Story, Twin Peaks, Workaholics, Louie, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Bob's Burgers, Dexter, Breaking Bad.

Music: Underground hip hop, Funk, R & B, Motown, Classic rock. You'll have to ask me more if you want to know, it's an extensive list.

Food: umm everything! Thai, Greek, Mexican, BBQ, Indian. I love exploring ethnic food, especially with someone who knows what their talking about.
Food and cooking are really important parts of my life. I try to eat wholesomely and get as much of my food locally as possible. I used to work on an organic farm and it really changed my views on food and food politics.
I am also a huge appreciator of craft beer, I try everything I can get my hands on and learning to brew is an ambition of mine.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my friends, my education, thinking time, art and nature perhaps.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Architecture, design, art, science and philosophy. I'm obsessed with figuring out how things function and how they can be improved upon. I'm extremely critical of my environment and society (but I'm sure not to extend that towards people!). I'm a sponge for knowledge, my ears and eyes are always open for new skills and experiences. I believe in training my weaknesses and optimizing my mind and body. In short, I want to be the strongest version of myself possible.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't have a typical Friday, nor would I want one! But you might find me: Road-tripping to nearby cities, making ridiculous meals/drinking with friends, catching a show, bar-hopping, working in the studio or maybe just curled up with a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I crossfit. There, I said it. I promise I'm not "one of those people" though.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are a creative thinker with an open heart and mind. If you seek out meaningful connections with good people. If you understand the value of friendship in a romance and the possibility of romance in a friendship.

I tend to befriend women easier than men. Some of my most valued friendships are with women, so I am more than receptive to the idea of platonic friendships --provided we're on the same page.
