I'm generally ridiculous, more feral than civilized but house broken. I have lots of energy and passion oooh so much passion. I'm a big curious kid BUT I take responsibility for myself, past, present and future, this is very important to me in myself and in others. I'm independent, very comfortable with myself and enjoy being challenged mentally and physically.

I'm a mountain cowboy gypsy punk, can't seem to keep my boots still and don't really want to. I grew up as a gypsy so it's kinda in my blood. I am connected to Portland by family, I've lived here off an on sine I was in middle school. I've collectively lived in California the most. I want to put down some roots but I haven't found the right soil yet.

I love being outdoors especially off trail exploring the forest where few other manamals go. I work very hard and enjoy using my body, hands and mind for work, I'm not an office dweller. I have rough strong hands and lots of scars.

I am simultaneously the most coordinated and clumsy person you are likely to meet. I just ran my first mountain ultra-marathon kinda by accident and I can't wait to do another.
I've hitchhiked cross country a few times and bike toured.
I'm always down for a dancing I don't even care if there's music. I'd always rather be barefoot. I ride my bike year round even though I have a car.

I'm trying to make a career in conservation, sooo I'm moving around working on trails, watershed improvement, invasive species control, forestry and lots of other stuff for non profits and land trusts/parks. I'm also trying to do guiding and/or search and rescue.

Right now I'm a cook at a queer bar in SE and remodeling a friends house.

In the last five years I've lived in california, oregon, washington, ohio, new hampshire and new zealand. During that time I've been a cook, landscaper, yoga teacher, massage therapist, arborist, caretaker, farm hand, entrepreneur and trail builder...I keep myself busy! especially since most of these were at the same time.

Other than that I'm always trying to improve myself, build up my skills, knowledge and living life to the fullest, and doing a daaaaaaanm good job at it!

Books: I am always reading multiple books in a wide variety of genres, I like distopians, classic lit, anthropology. and ecology the most. I'm a schizophrenic reader. Clockwork Orange, The Red Queen, Metamorphosis, Alice in wonderland, botany of desire.

Movies: Visually artistic, quirky, independent and foreign are often my favorites. The Science of Sleep, Brick, Amalie, spirited away.

TV: Fuck TV!!!

Music: I like some funky base, layers or something you just want to move to, and I can mooooove! I hate "pop" music in every genre. Give me an artist! Smashing Pumpkins, Gorilaz, Violent Femmes, Neutral Milk Hotel

Food: Dude not even going to get into this LOVE FOOD I'm always eating or thinking about food and I'm an amazing, yah amazing cook! Indian, Pizza, Thai, your mom...but only if she's spicy!
