Dedicated and honest, my friends value me for being the person they can always talk to. I live to find my passions, for the ones I love, and to have a good life. Nerd, artist, wanderer. I am made of music and stop to smell the flowers. Strangely humored, serious to a fault, sculptor of words. Figuring it all out one day at a time.

I'm also basically a tech nerd unspiring to be a starving artist. Figure that one out.

Ever the New Yorker, I'm finding my place in this city. My life is in animation and film, my mind wanders to sciences, philosophy, mathematics, writing, culture, language, and music. I have a lot of goals to pursue and with any luck I'll meet a tenth of them.

For now, I'll draw, write, work, and carve out a place for myself so I can eventually turn fantasy to reality. And sometimes I'll take a few days to be a gamer or obsess over media.

Anything with a computer chip in it, reading and writing, 3D art, math, playing the piano by ear, visual effects, film editing, living a little zen, photography, sports if I kept up with them, gaming, finding obscure things, staying awake for days if I need to, getting my sleep when I want it, keeping secrets, keeping what's in my head to myself, reading people, being honest, judging character.

People notice I am guarded and stone-faced. The best listener and the worst sharer. It's obvious that I think very hard about everything. Hard to "get". Self-conscious.

My sense of brevity prefers that my profile be short, but OKC has a notion that a complete profile is 1000 words long. So I'll take a chunk of text and dedicate it to a little philosophy.

Too few of us think for ourselves, myself included. 90% of the profiles I happen across could have been copied and pasted from one to the other, after messing with a few adjectives and verbs. That depresses me. Let's get a bit of personal discussion in there, hmm? Are you actually the sum of the foods you eat, movies you enjoy, and the fact that you are a family-person? At least I know what type of person I'm coming across when I run into the profile of a super-bouncy Catholic, an irresponsibly sex-charged college-girl or the tiny cuddle-craving shy girl. Do you have any aspirations? If not, what drives your life? What do you think about the role of money in our lives? How do you identify with a culture, if you have one? Name one event that made you who you are, if it's not too private. How do you feel about art or economy, what do you fear?

Okay, it's just a dating site. It's silly to share your life story. But do try to step out of the copy-paste zone, would you? It's kind of hard to find you. (Whoever you are.)
