I like to think I'm intelligent, although I'd be the first to admit I have to look up words like 'inchoate' and 'verisimilitude'. Actually having said that, I now know what they mean, but I'm sure there are more words that will require me to steal one of my father's dictionaries. That brings me on to my living conditions. I live in the outskirts of London, with my father and our cat. I mainly do the tidying up, but I try not to look on myself as a housewife in training.

I would love to travel more, since I've never been outside of Europe. I'm getting exceedingly jealous as time goes by of all the exotic places my friends have been that I have not! I'd love to go to Africa & Australia, and I wouldn't mind visiting areas of China and Japan, and while I've already visited some parts of Italy and France I'd love to return because they're so beautiful. I've also visited Berlin, but that was only for a week, so I'd love to return and visit other places in Germany. My big plan for travel at the moment is looking forward to my 30th birthday when I intend to travel to San Diego Comicon, and then spend some time taking in the sights of California, and possibly visiting some other parts of the USA too. Las Vegas perhaps...

I'm proud of being a Londoner, as proud as I am of being British, although I'd be the first to point out that there are many faults with my dear homeland!

Also I've been told that the best thing I can say about myself is that I have an X-wing and a Tardis in my bedroom.

I'm a shop girl. Not exactly the most glamorous of jobs, but it's currently paying the bills. I'm determined that I shall have a more interesting and rewarding job in the near future.

In my spare time though I'm a lot more interesting!

Talking/listening to people. Remembering really random facts, like various facts about Bond Films, and large chunks of my favourite books.

I don't look my age because I'm short and weigh very little! I'm also extremely loud for a 'petite' person.

Anything Terry Pratchett, I like spy novels, and various thrillers, but basically give me a decently written book with a good plot and I'll be happy for hours. Other favourite authors include - Robert Rankin, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Thomas Hardy (gasp, not a crime author!). I also have an entire collection of Christopher Brookmyre books.

Anything James Bond, or for that matter with explosions and a tissue-paper-thin plot line that I can laugh at. I also love Star Wars. Other movies include Cruel Intentions, Italian Job (the original), Breakfast at Tiffany's, Moulin Rouge, also most comic book films, I'm a big fan of Batman and the Marvel superheroes. My superhero love continues in to tv - I loved the first series of The Cape and was upset that No Ordinary Family was cancelled, but I also like other genres like Warehouse 13 and Red Dwarf. I'll watch most comedians, although there are a couple who I think should stop bothering. How I Met Your Mother is always entertaining, and I am very much enjoying the reruns of Big Bang Theory. I really loved Lost Girl and even though I've only seen the pilot I can see myself getting hooked on Arrow.

I have a very strange taste in music, I love anything by The Rat Pack (50's music), and I'll admit to listening to Country and Western when I'm feeling romantic or blue! Basically I'll listen to anything with a good rhythm and a good load of lyrics. Can't stand repetitive songs that just say the same thing over and over. Most of my music collection includes stuff I feel I can sing along to though, or at least, that's what I listen to most.

I'm an extremely enthusiastic cook, I love being in the kitchen and making something for people to enjoy. I love baking but I'm also known for cooking savoury things as well, my lamb meatballs with tomato sauce and spaghetti is said to be delicious, as is my shepherds pie with extra shepherds... I make a brilliant chocolate muffin and everyone I share them with says that my brownies are the best.

Books. Company. Some kind of music to sing along to. Animals. Nice shoes. Chocolate.
