My self-summary
I trip over air. I think that 'shhh' is the most annoying sound unless it's in the context of running water. Peanut butter and chocolate will forever be the magic combination, and I will never take my coffee black. I hide my smile, and blush way too much for my own good. I dance..terribly, but I dance. I sing with abandon, and think that I'm better than I probably am 99% of the time. My hair seems to always end up looking like I just got out of bed, though that's rarely the case. I'm pretty sure it looks alright like that, though. It's all good. I care... about everything. I'm far too hard on people and even harder on myself. I'm sarcastic, too honest, and sometimes insensitive. I'm working on the incongruous anomalies in my personality. I see them.
I’m really good at
Never wearing matching socks.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, and I've been told the first impression that people get from me is that I'm a ditz. I am pretty clumsy, but I would hope that I'm not actually a ditz; just a normal person with a few extra blonde moments thrown in.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have a pretty eclectic taste in media. Books, I just love reading. Magazine articles, picture books to my nieces, biographies, autobiographies, romantic/drama, action/adventure, billboards, I'm just a reader. Anytime I have the time. I just finished the House of Night series, which is a teenage romantic sci-fi type series, it was still decent, I'm picking up Atlas Shrugged, which is on the complete other end of the spectrum.

TV: House, Dexter, The Office, Defiance, Warehouse 13

I adore singing, as in I do it all day long. Mostly different songs, but sometimes a catchy jingle will lodge itself in my noggin. I sing at work, in the car, while I'm cooking, while I'm driving, and ironically enough, never while I'm in the shower. I listen to country, and some rap, never screamo, but always boppin' with that Reggae. If you're so inclined you could check out Wookiefoot, or the Wailin' Jennys, or the Civil Wars, or Florence and the Machine. I love them. All of them.
Update: I'm on a Michael Jackson kick, it makes me feel like dancing.

I could say anything cooked when it comes to food, but that would be a lie...kind of. I do like sushi. I tried it before my first visit to the opera my Junior year and I've been craving it ever since. Tacos are amazing. If you make me an omelete I'll love you forever. Shrimp! I'm not a seafood ew-er. I love seafood, and waffles. Not together...okay, maybe together.
The six things I could never do without
Family
Commas
Tall people hugs
Driving/biking/traveling
Chapstick
Chocolate milk (preferably TruMoo)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. I think long and hard about deep topics then fly off on some random tangent. You'll probably witness this phenomenon if you ever spend any good amount of time with/near/around me: I will randomly ask the most unrelated question possible and be completely serious about receiving an answer. The origins of words and why things are pronounced the way they're pronounced. What if the color orange was named something else? Would the fruit still be called oranges? I like using my brain.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing, out with friends(,) at the Hookah Lounge, movie night with my cinephile brother-in-law, babysitting, karaoke night, game night (the board variety), walking aroung Grand Rapids, hanging out around Eastown.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can sing the Wonder Pets theme song to you in full, on key, and with an extreme genuine enthusiasm. I babysat for a very long time.
ALSO,
I don't like to be touched when I'm sad. I hug people/let people hug me when sad things happen, but it's really just for them.
And,
I'm definitely losing faith in this (as if I had much to begin with). Every man I've met seems to be interested in only sex, thinks that I'm too tall and sees this as a valid excuse rather than telling me what their real issue with me is (why not just be straightforward?), or doesn't understand that conversation is a two way street. I'm annoyed by these things.
