Well, it's been a while since I've updated this thing. I just finished my residency in Psychiatry and am eagerly anticipating my newfound freedom. Labels are tricky things but if I had to don a few to give you some idea of who I may be I suppose these might do.
Libertarian, foodie, avid reader, intelligent.

I've recently had my long-term plan of becoming a physician come to fruition and I've been wondering what to do with my life from there. I suppose my next project ought to be finding someone I'd want to be around and share my life with. As for the immediate future, there's a very good chance I can be found at Piedmont Park on any given day with my Labrador.

1. Reading (I read too fast and run out of stuff to read)
2. Party/board games (Taboo is a personal favorite)
3. Critical thinking: A nearly lost art amongst the race of man as far as I can tell.
4. Cooking

That I look much younger than I am.

Books - Most anything fantasy/sci-fi: A Song of Ice and Fire, Discworld, Margaret Weis, Terry Goodkind, Harry Potter, Chuck Palahniuk, LOTR, Wheel of Time, Asimov, Other books/authors include House of God, Howard Zinn, Ayn Rand, Murray Rothbard. The list goes on and on really.

Movies - Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Braveheart, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, V for Vendetta, Spiderman, Clockwork Orange, What Dreams May Come, The Big Lebowski

Music - anything but rap is fine by me, I'm as comfortable listening to classic as I am to country, rock or techno. And I don't care what anyone says Barber Shop Quartets rocked. Currently, I can't seem to get enough of Mumford and Sons, especially Winter Winds.

Favorite websites: Penny Arcade and xkcd for light-hearted nerd comics. Glenn Greenwald, Justin Raimondo, and Lew Rockwell for compelling, thoughtful political blogging.

TV shows: Daily Show and Colbert Report, Family Guy, Futurama, Hell's Kitchen, Arrested Development

Ummm...I'm going to be my practical self here and burn my first few choices with water, food, air, and shelter. I guess that leaves me with computer and functional electric outlet. Leastwise, that's how I'd answer if some magic genie asked me. If an internet dating site asked me...I suppose it would be my books, friends, computer, good food and to hell with the other two. I'm a simple guy.
