Hey my name is Chris! I was born and raised in Florida and recently moved to LA for work. I'm a pretty laid back person. Looking to meet new people to help me get acquainted to my new home.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I am working as a User Interface developer. Pretty passionate about my job and my work. Dreaming of someday owning my own design/development firm
I’m really good at
Learning to play instruments, guitar being my main squeeze. I am a wiz at Photoshop and a bunch of other things related to design. Making people laugh. Problem solving. Drinking?
The first things people usually notice about me
When people notice me it's usually because I'm interrupting their conversation randomly to make a joke so probably that I like to break the rules of conversation and I'm funny.
My eyes and my smile maybe?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Chuck Palanhuck, Charles Bukowski, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tucker Max, Dawkins, anything that other people are probably offended by
Movies - Open to just about anything but I do watch a lot of documentaries. If Harry Potter, Star Wars, Good Fellas or Shawshank redemption are on, that's what I'm watching
Shows - I usually just watch whatever strikes my fancy. I'm a big fan of Bar Rescue and some of those types of shows. Loved Breaking Bad, sad it ended.
Music - I listen to just about everything except house, dubstep, electronic music. It's not music if you can't sing it on karaoke.
My favorites are ska, reggae, punk, folk, and blues.
Food - Im not a picky eater and I love to try new things.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life in general. I'm a people watcher so sometimes I like to come up with my own narratives for stranger's lives.
Things I dont know enough about and looking them up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking a beer in a social environment, watching hockey, or hanging with my pup
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have very few friends in LA and it sucks It's a lot different from the smaller towns I've lived in where you see the same people every night
You should message me if
If you're a cool, like-minded person who would consider going out with me for dinner and drinks
-Must love dogs
-Must have a job and a car. Not that I won't pay or pick you up but I'm not at a point where I want to be around folks who don't have it together.
