My name is Robb! I think I'm pretty cool. I realize that's a completely bias opinion but it's really the only one that matters to me. I mean, I'm no Bill Murray, but I'm still a pretty-alright-guy.

I have a lot of positives that don't translate very well into marketable blurbs but I can tell you the end result is a multi-faceted person who people generally enjoy getting to know and talk to. I know it's a cliche but it's totally applicable, I'm your "diamond in the rough" and if you're lucky enough to get a message from me I really hope I'm lucky enough to get a message back!

I'm working a retail job but I'm also currently looking for new jobs in the Fargo/Moorhead and Bismarck/Mandan areas. I'm also trying to teach myself Swedish, programming and have been practicing my creative writing skills. Basically, I'm experimenting with different possibilities. Beyond that, I'm just enjoying life.

Conversation. I like to talk. Not to hear my own voice but to hear the opinions and feelings of others. Besides that, I like to learn. I'm always trying to teach myself some cool little trick or sometimes something bigger like a new skill or language.

"Oooooh your eye lashes are so preeeetty!" is something I've grown up hearing throughout my life but has thinned out with age. Maybe it's the beard, maybe it's because I'm a grown man but little old ladies no longer approach me with those compliments.

Also, I'm a day walker. Imagine going through most of your life naturally until one day you find out you're half ginger! It took some emotional discovery but I'm now comfortable being half ginger and wear my beard with honor.

Reason is the most important value I have. I always try to be reasonable in all of my decisions. My pursuit of reason has lead to my pursuit of empathy and I try my best to understand those around me.

I'm not particularly fond of being drunk but I do like to drink casually. Having a beer after work and playing a video game or movie is one of the best ways to unwind.

I love gadgets! I'm a big techie and I love following gadget news. I have several of my own and it's fun to mess around and tinker with them. I know a bit about computers and those are also fun (but expensive) and I'll probably be building my own within the coming months.

The internet is one of the biggest technological revolutions in human history and I absolutely adore the fact that we all have front row seats to the beginning stages of it's life. It's been stressful lately but seeing some of the amazing things that have been done in the last couple of years makes it worth it. Between my phone and my computer I usually have to have some kind of internet connection. (I'm kind of really addicted)

My family is important to me and I have two little nieces back in Bismarck that I don't get to see nearly enough.

That's kind of a big question. How about you ask me someday and get an earful?

Depends on the Friday night, I suppose. If I have plans I might be out and about drinking or playing video games. If it's a usual Friday night chances are I'm at home, sipping on a beer, cruising Reddit.
