I am fun, quirky, and thoughtful.

My Self-Summary

I'm currently in school and beginning a new career in clinical research so that's my primary focus these days. Music is my main outlet that gets me through good and bad times alike. With that comes a love for dancing as well.

I’m really good at

many things... however, filling in the blanks on profiles is not one of them. Sorry folks. Just drop me a line if you want to know more...

The first things people usually notice about me

I suppose it depends on who's noticing... but my laughter tends to turn heads as I rarely stifle it.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: On Beauty (Zadie Smith). Also The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide, Life of Pi, Oryx and Crake, White Teeth, Fahrenheit 451 and, for the kid in me, the Harry Potter series... I've also been reading a lot of Chuck Palahniuk lately.

Movies: There are many.. but just to give you a taste... Monty Python and the search for the Holy Grail, The Professional, The Big Lebowski (had to read the screen play for a class and I fell in love with it), The Princess Bride, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine, The Prestige, Sex and Lucia, The Fall (one of the most visually gratifying movies I've seen)

Music: Honestly, anything that can move me either physically or emotionally or both.

Food: It's tough to beat a thick juicy steak on the grill...

The six things I could never do without

Beside the obvious essentials...

Music, laughter, intellectual/philosophical conversation, my journal, sunshine, and, yes, I'll say it, chocolate.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm a dork and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
