I'm a very open-minded, fun-loving person who likes to party but enjoys a quiet night at home just as much. My hobbies range from exploring the great outdoors to hanging out in smoky pool halls, and I love trying new things.
I'm very expressive and enjoy writing, which people say I'm decent at, and I dabble in decorative painting, which I'm not very good at but find very meditative.
I consider myself to have a pretty decent sense of humor and have a difficult time relating to people who don't laugh a lot. It doesn't mean I can't be serious about anything, I just don't see the point in dwelling on it.
As far as relationships go... well, I'm looking for something, but I'm not looking for anything in particular, if that makes any sense. I want to find that special someone just as much as the next person, but I'm not sure how realistic that is for me while I'm still in the military (I don't deal with the long-distance thing to well). I just moved to San Antonio as well, so I'm not sure if now's the time to jump into a new relationship while I'm still trying to get myself settled in here. I'm trying to take a relaxed approach right now... meet lots of new people, take things slowly, keep my head on straight... but if something great falls into my lap, I'm definitely not going to turn it away!

Trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I've been in the Navy for 11 years now, and I'm still not quite sure how that happened. :) I'm thinking I'd like to go into social work later on, but that's still just a thought at this point...

Whether it's better for me to be off galavanting around the world alone or if I should be closer to the people I love. Where I will be in ten years. Five years. How I would be living differently if I was told I only had one year to live. Why my cats Loki and Artemis like to lay on open books while I'm trying to read them. If Loki and Artemis can really see things that I can't. Whether I turned my coffee pot off or not when I left for work.
