My self-summary
I am honest about everything. So if I wrote it down here, its probably true, not probably - it is. I believe in being polite to everyone and showing the ones you love how important they are. Life is short, make the most of it.

I am very goal oriented and cant stand the idea of sitting silent hitting buttons on a controller for days on end (I really don't play video games at all, even angry birds). I am going to look back at my life and be proud of the things I accomplished, the people I meet and every step along the way. I have a Kindle and love it.

I drink a lot of tea. I know a lot about Feng Shui, I've lived in Hawaii and have never owned a motorcycle.

I listen to a lot of music, theres a constant soundtrack going on around me. I love movies, I dont watch them non stop but I appriciate the art form. I have a degree in direction, I could analyze anything about movies or TV and tell you all about it; why the crew shot that scene, how they shot it, where the lights were, how many people were involved.. its a process.

I love art of all kinds; Davinci, Lachapelle, Michelangelo. I have been to symphonies, operas and plays many many times. I was a camera operator for the Portland Christmas Symphony for 2 years and I try and make sure that any projects I work on benefit the outside world, I have done work for the Anne Frank Foundation, Human Trafficking ad campaigns and Dolphin Outreach.

I don't really use this site too much, but I spend 99% of my time reading a profile and only look at a picture once I like what I have read.
What I’m doing with my life
I worked in computer programming for a long time, hated it. I can do pretty much anything with a computer but that funded what I really want to be doing, anything creative. Since then I went back to school for Theatrical Direction, and I know a LOT about the process of making a film. Give me $5 million and ill turn out something really professional. (wishful thinking). My main life goal is to one day make a feature film. I have total and complete respect for anyone following their dream, regardless of the payoff. If you live life for money, you're going to be very disappointed very often.
I’m really good at
Im funny, I have a pretty witty dry sense of humour. I wanted to be David Letterman when I was a kid, unfortunately that job's taken. I can do a REALLY good scottish accent and can moonwalk. Theres a few more things, but those are secret.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have blue eyes? I smile a lot? I'm left handed? I dont know, probably that Im real and not a figment of their imagination. Thats the first thing I notice about people as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favourite Movies:
(I tend to recommend movies that would fit in anywhere, good for people aged 8-80, so maybe not my absolute favourite - but ones you should see nonetheless)

The Fall - Beautiful Move - You should watch it.

Son of Rambow - Super Cute, well written and funny.

Back to the Future - Best movie ever, I can prove it I wrote a paper on it.

Moon - Sam Rockwell talking to himself for 2 hours, it is fantastic in every way. Also it was directed by David Bowie's son, so thats awesome.

Anything by David Fincher, a Director and is very technical and thought out. Stylized and knows how to portray emotion. - Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Se7en, Fight Club, Benjamin Button, Panic Room

Seinfeld, for some reason I never watched it when it was on. But now I cant get enough, if its on I will watch it all the time. Very well written and subtle. "It's 100% cotton, and some wool".

Mr Show, Monty Python and Upright Citizens Brigade could be on anytime and I would watch. Kids in the Hall, The State, Stella as well.. ok if its Sketch comedy - im in.

If I am going to sit down and watch TV, usually something funny. I'm not the type to watch every episode right when it comes on.. though I am excited for a new season of Arrested Development.
I will watch standup comedy anyday. Bill Hicks, Doug Stanhope, Louis CK, Donald Glover, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Sarah Silverman.. and the list goes on...

I have a very good taste in it (im sure everyone thinks that). I have about 300gb of music in my iTunes, not that I listen to all of it.

Daft Punk, We Are Terrible Enfant, The Presets, Ladytron, Schubert, Amon Tobin, Lana Del Ray, David Bowie, Jamiroquai, Yelle, Bjork, Brazillian Girls, How to Destroy Angels, Justice, Poe, The Knife, M83, Massive Attack, Sebastian Tellier, MIA, Amon Tobin, Depeche Mode, The Xx, 311, DJ Shadow, Peter Gabriel, Fiona Apple, Tricky (all on my phone right now) I could go on and on and on.
The six things I could never do without
Reading (Kindle)
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home, playing in Cinema 4D or writing or any other hopefully productive things. I have been to a night club maybe 3 times in my life, I don't drink. Wine occasionally, but beer and hard alcohol only leads to headaches... I figured that much out awhile ago.

Anxious to go to UCB shows since I am in LA.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm the type of guy who opens doors for woman and picks up litter.
I have a lot of goals for myself, and for my future but ultimately, at least from this site, I am looking to meet my best friend... We shall see..

  • Ages 26–35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating
You should message me if
You appreciate comedy, you take life just seriously enough to laugh when its funny but work hard when you need to. You don't cheat, lie or steal.. you know.. if you're a good person and you consider yourself one.. then most likely you are, and we should talk :)
