My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am grateful for the beauty of nature, the wealth of experiences I have had with people from all walks of life... the funny, the kind, and the fascinating.

I am hoping to find someone to share the joy of the outdoors, the beauty of the arts, likes to dig into the meanings of things, looks for adventure in life and want to share both the power and the growing affection of a long term monogamous committed relationship. A relationship that is a source of growth and support to both of us. Taking turns, listing and talking, asking and answering questions is a must.

I appreciate a man tha tlikes to cook/eat healthy, can share in the daily chores of running a household and who has an affinity for kids- just in general- grandkids, nieces, nephes... being fond of animals is a plus especially patience to win over a little white rescued Muppet dog who initially gets very scared of strangers.

for now what feels most comfortable is to meet with you and to take things slow, see if we make great friends and not act carelessly on chemistry. I'd enjoy taking a hike/ getting to know each other over a cup of tea/coffee.

drop me an email and let me know what you are contacting me, what is it in my profile? Ask me about my love of nature or what inspires you?

I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to be introspective and responsible, look inside and learn from experience, make a change.

I suppose some folks would feel complimented by being approached by someone decades younger. Sorry it is not a good feeling for me so I will simply delete your post if you are in your 20s-40s
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am finally beginning to enjoy being single after being in a 22 year relationship. I am spending time with writers, artists and poetry appreciators. I have been determined and dedicated toward becoming stronger physically so I am at the gym 3 times a week, walking my dog 2 a day, yoga class 3x a wk and started riding my bike again. I enjoy the challenge and results and look forward to canoeing, hiking and camping this summer. I am working on getting my house ready to sell by this Spring. I am excited by the freedom I feel right now. I am figuring out where I would like to travel and considering either Switzerland or Spain this June. I am attending live performances- think the Ark/Mommas coffee house,The Book of Mormon - the musical and eyeing the DSO. I have been down at the DIA a lot this past year. Working part time is fulfilling.
Especially like setting up times to spend with family. I am also becoming more involved in making art again

OK so this is what I am told: look young, much prettier than my photo and that I am easy to be with. I also get that I am smart.
I have to say this is an uncomfortable question to answer.

Love animation, even old full length Disney animation. The artistry blows me away as well as good Japanese anime like Spirited Away
I can sit/stand in front of an intriguing painting for a LONG time, as well as in natural beauty.

I am shocked, flattered and annoyed by much younger men contacting me. Some are younger than not just my kids but almost as close in age as a grandson. its enough to spend time with a man no more than 6 years younger...honesstly what is that?

You know how to take turns and believe doing so is the right thing to do. So when we meet you want to look at me, ask me questions and want me to talk also. You have pursued your own personal and spiritual growth so you know yourself well enough to relate to me. You want a honest, emotionally close fun discovering tactile committed relationship and know how to communicate clearly. Like being silly, like being thoughtful.
