Me: I am a quiet, easy going person who is loyal to friends, family and significant others. I am quick to trust and often believe that this is one of my flaws. I believe the simple things in life should be enjoyed and dislike when others over analyze things. I am indecisive when making plans or picking/choosing between things, but when it comes to life I have pretty specific aspirations. I take myself quite seriously at times and am learning to be more lighthearted.

Who I'm looking for: Intelligent and well educated, but easy to communicate with and down to earth. I'm looking for a (nonfurry) companion to share my aspirations, accomplishments, and life with; a genuine, loyal person. A well educated gentleman willing to make sacrifices in a relationship so that both people can be happy. A person who thinks the world about the people he loves and prides himself not only on his own accomplishments but on other people's as well. An adventurous person who likes to explore new things but doesn't resent just relaxing and doing nothing once in a while.

I have spent most of my life so far in school and I would love to take advantage of new experiences the area has to offer. I love to travel--locally, internationally, across country. I currently have a career in the medical field, and I love it!

Listening and Cooking. I know they are two totally different skills...but they are the only things that I feel that there is no need for improvement. As far as anything else, I'm very willing to learn.

You tell me! Since I've moved to California (3months ago now), I have had two strangers pull me aside to tell me that I look like "the girl" from the Gillmore Girls. Not sure what they are talking about, but perhaps the freckles? dimples?

Favorite books: Books by Wally Lamb, Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Harry Potter Series

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill series

Music: Any Rock/Alternative. Fav's: The Format (Now FUN), Buckcherry, Jack Johnson, Howie Day, Hot Hot Heat, OAR, Aerosmith, DMB

Food: Spicy, different, lacking vegetables + wine/beer that compliments

The people who surround and love me, my pets, my gym pass, really comfy cozy places where I can curl up, guilt-free pleasures

What I just thought about. I have an amazingly horrible short-term memory. I like to write things down, then promptly lose my notes...

Going to dinner with friends, or making dinner for myself. Catching up with the folks back east or relaxing and watching a movie.
