My Self-Summary

I am still finding out who I really am, but I am willing to share my thoughts thus far if you are interested. I find it impossible to write satisfactorily in here and so I have given up trying. I admire honesty and strive to achieve that for myself as often as possible.

What I’m doing with my life

I have not long finished my degree. I have enjoyed studying even though it has been really hard work. I started my new career last September and I do not regret retraining in the slightest.

I am enjoying building on my skills as a parent and transforming the relationships that I have with my children to one of mentor. I am proud that we have the trust and closeness in our relationships that enable us to do this successfully.

I am making more time to do things that I enjoy such as participating in sports and watching movies.

I’m really good at

analysing, categorising, tidying, questioning, thinking, being stubborn, teaching maths, parenting, being a supportive friend.

The first things people usually notice about me

are my eyes or sometimes my smile (or perhaps even both!), and that it can sometimes be hard to get a word in, particularly if I'm talking about work. I try hard not to be like this very often ;)

The six things I could never do without

My life would be less enjoyable without my friends and my children, exercise, books, good films, and takeaways!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

mathematics, how to improve at work, fractals, emotions, how I managed to raise such great kids, why it's taken me so long to appreciate the good things in life.

On a typical Friday night I am

either ironing, working, watching a movie, sleeping. I would like to be snuggled up to a warm male body (he he).
