My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm can be a bit shy at first but not as much once I get to know you. I'm pretty intellectually curious and love to laugh. Very passionate about what I set my mind to. Also, a bit quirky.

I try to take a utilitarian approach to things and am a big believer in standing up for what's right and doing the right thing, even if your voice shakes.

I think compassion, honesty and empathy are some of the most necessary and lovely qualities one can have, and ones that I strive to emulate on a regular basis, and look for in others.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I do analytics for an Internet (once-upon-a-time startup) company. I also have a small business selling my own sculptures that I started when I was 15.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sculpting, writing, baking. Being realistic. Thinking creatively and outside-the-box. Walking around aimlessly. Getting lost. Giggling. Composition.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books: Entirely too many to name. A small sampling: Most David Sedaris, Harry Potter, The Crucible, Great Expectations. I'm reading Game of Thrones right now and am absolutely loving it.

Favorite movies: The Wizard of Oz, Pan's Labyrinth, Little Miss Sunshine, An Education, Beetlejuice, Footloose (the original).

TV shows: Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Mad Men. I really love reruns of Will & Grace and The Wonder Years.

Food: Olives, dark chocolate, pad thai, Ann Sather cinnamon rolls, peanut butter, burgers, tacos, cider donuts, black and white cookies, pretty much all breakfast foods. I like a large variety of foods, but I try to eat as organically and simply as possible, both when I cook/bake and when I go out.

It didn't ask for it, but one of my favorite quotes:
“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.”
- Gilda Radner
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If the greater part of our happiness really is more dependent on our dispositions rather than our circumstances.

You have a good heart and a beautiful mind (not the Russell Crowe version :)).

You have a quirky sense of humor and see the hilarious absurdity in every day things.
