My self-summary
I am not in Orono, Maine, yet... I am living in Tampa, FL until April and moving to Maine in mid-May. I'll be located a few miles north of Howland in the Seboeis area. I'll probably be officially settled in Orono/Bangor around July.

I would like to make it clear that I have absolutely no intention on returning to Florida other than to visit/vacation. I still have a few good friends in Florida and some of them I do programming work for. I have to update the rest of my profile very soon.

I am a computer repair tech with his own business working out of the Tampa Flea Market. I basically buy/sell/repair computers all day, every day. I am a programmer as well and when the opportunity is presented, I love getting myself deep into some coding. I really don't know what to say here. It's so vague... Well, I graduated two-year college when I was 19, came to Tampa to go to USF for Chemical (and later, Computer) Engineering. Things happened, lost scholarship, learned some hard life lessons, and grew up. I appreciate the finer things in life such as late-night food runs and listening to classic 90s alternative music.

I'm not judgmental of people or their ways of living. I'm open to new experiences. I know what I'm looking for in life and I'm honest about what I feel is hindering me. I don't believe in "brutal" honesty because that to me says that you're a person who does not know how to show empathy or care to even try. I am truthful, but I try to remove the whole being an a-hole while doing it process.

My personality type is ENFP, if you're reading this and you're curious. I have a ton of little things I like to do throughout my day and I have a ton of projects that I work on. I have a wide variety of interests and I like when other people do as well. I love learning from others and I enjoy people asking questions about the things I know. Knowledge is power and I feel that learning new things creates more connections between people.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a computer repair tech. It hasn't paid well in Tampa because the competition basically cuts your throat and leaves you for dead. My real desire is to finish school and become a high school teacher. I would love to teach a math/science course or even programming. Until then, I'm doing whatever work I can to survive.
I’m really good at
Computers, math, chemistry, physics, Linux, and for some reason Street Fighter 4... I am also really good at talking. So good in fact, people have told me to tjat I need to stop because my mouth just runs sometimes. I'm working on it, I promise.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair because it's kind of all BAM! Hair!

If you happen to have a different first reaction, please inform me because I must know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I was a big fan of The Outsiders many years ago. I don't read too many fictional pieces anymore; however, I read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a year or so ago and it was absolutely fantastic and possibly the best series of stories I've ever read. Other than that, I read a lot of textbooks and programming books.

Shows: Sons of Anarchy, Seinfeld, Jeopardy, Big Bang Theory, Walking Dead, The Office, 30 Rock, SNL, Bob's Burgers, King of the Hill, MythBusters, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Cowboy Bebop. I also love almost any show on Food Network. That is only a bit of what I watch.

Movies: A lot of movies, mostly well-thought-out comedies such as Judd Apatow stuff. I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Inglorious Basterds to get my Quentin Tarantino stuff out of the way. Good Fellas, The Departed, gah... just ask. I can't name all of these things.

Music: I am a guy who listens to a lot of rock music that existed prior to about 2004. Other than that, I listen to nearly everything as long as it doesn't sound entirely generic and feels real. I listen to a lot of jazz as well because it's relaxing and goes great with a rainy day or a snowy night. Bands and what not: Smashing Pumpkins, Aerosmith, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, 311, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, CSNY, Pearl Jam, Filter, Collective Soul, Beatles, Hole, Veruca Salt, Everclear, Eve 6, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mother Love Bone, Lemonheads, Lit, Puddle of Mudd, Screaming Trees, Spin Doctors, Allman Brothers, Presidents of the United States of America, Quincy Jones, Glenn Miller, Dave Brubeck, Sal Salvador, Dizzy Gillepsie, Miles Davis

Food: BBQ is by far my favorite! You know, aside from everything! Something about awesome BBQ, there's nothing like it. I love food so I'll try anything once. I'm a big fan of Mexican, Jamaican, and Haitian food. I have recently acquired a taste for sushi which I think worked it's way into my favorite foods circle. Italian food is great along with Greek food. I make a pretty mean steak and sweet potato. When it comes to desserts: anything remotely chocolate. I am a chocolate fiend. If I had to become world class specialty chef in anything, it'd be chocolate. Cooking is a passion of mine and I love cooking with lots of spices and flavors. I also love making spicy foods, but seeing as how nobody around me likes spicy food... I can't make it as much :(
The six things I could never do without
I am not a materialistic person, but since this is not specifically asking about materials:
1. Learning new things
2. The laughter of others
3. Good company
4. Hiking
5. Nature
6. Fresh garlic, thyme, and butter (about as materialistic as I'm going to get)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My mind is everywhere, this is way too hard to narrow down... I imagine this should be a tough essay for any person.

I guess my future is something that I think about a lot. I never know where I'm going to go or what I'm going to become. I like the idea of being a teacher, but I also think about owning a restaurant or going nomad and traveling the country with my cats. What if I built a company that gives people computer repairs at awesome prices or what if I started a video game production team? Too many ideas and not enough time.

I know that ultimately I want to be a teacher, though. I sometimes sit down and think about how I would teach a subject to a group of people in a way that was both entertaining and also understandable. I think that is why teaching programming would be the perfect subject because it allows people to be creative and at the same time focused and logical.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately I've been designated driver for my friends but that's just been over the past couple months.

Before that I just sat at home listening to Pandora while smoking.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm quite open about a lot, so it's really a matter of just asking. I don't have too much about just me that's private.

You like to smile and you have no plans on making me watch reality tv with you. Also if you're strong and could make it on your own if you had to. I like when a female can have self-reliance. Not looking for a damsel in distress.
