I'm a nice guy, honest and smart, quiet and thoughtful. I'm taking some time to meet some new people and see where it goes.

I am looking into ways to start doing voice work. I have a deep voice that many, many people say has a nice and clear and peaceful cadence that would be perfect for that line of work. Who doesn't want to get paid to talk?

Taking large amounts of confusing data and coalescing it into a lucid and understandable format. Also making coffee. And spoiling my cat. And certain things I shouldn't mention in polite company or around my grandparents. And blinking (I will blink the ish out of you). And breathing.

My bald head, lol, and broad shoulders. Oh, and that I tend to carry a serious expression on my face. I am happy, I swear, I just don't walk around with a smile 24/7.

I'll add to this a bit at a time...

Books: Right now I am reading "The Signal and the Noise..." and it is very good. Prior to that I finally started on the "Dune" series and got through "Children of Dune" before deciding to switch up genres. I read most anything that s interesting be it non-fiction or fiction, fantasy, science fiction, biographies, historical fiction, etc. My favorite books since I was an adolescent were written by Peter Hathaway Capstick. One book was accounts of big game hunters in the past, another was what he presented as autobiographical stories that later were revealed to be adopted stories. Now, I am not a hunter myself, but the man knew how to create a scene and the suspense with it and they were wonderful books.

Music: Currently enjoying an eclectic mix thanks to Pandora

TV: Breaking Bad and Mad Men, the Daily Show, Community, The Wire, plenty of shows. I don't spend a lot of time in front of the TV, most of my viewing is thanks to the internet. If I catch it on TV and I like it, I binge on it. If it gets recommended and I like it, I binge on it.

Movies: Damn near anything deserves a chance, but that doesn't mean I won't turn it off if it is no good.

Working until late, then likely relaxing as I work the weekends. Boring, I know. Though it just so happens my Friday is Monday, so perhaps the question should be different...

I have a Purple Heart for a wound to my genitals. Nothing serious, but a funny story. Also, don't read too much into the "What I am Looking For" section.

You'd like to talk with and meet an honest man that will treat people how they should be treated. Oh, and also if you understood that my profile was part serious, part not-so-much. Lastly, if you want someone to hike with. I am a little out of practice but love it, I was infantry after all.
