My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Right now, you're literally shaking with anticipation to message me and thinking how tough it is to initiate conversation with such a chiseled Adonis. Never fear. Here are some things to help you with your first message:

Might as well start off with some of the age-old cliches. I'm low key, composed, intelligent and exceedingly, disarmingly charming. Our entire generation is sarcastic, so listing it as a trait seems redundant.

Contradictory to what you may think from my edgy image and chic fashion sense, I'm actually not a party animal. Unless that party involves board/drinking games.

I travel a decent amount these days. Just went to Germany and Switzerland. Am going to Scotland soon. Trying to get people to go to Iceland with me. Apparently, it's not a hugely popular destination among my age group. (Wrote this years ago. I still haven't gone.)

I have a wide range of interests, including guitar, reading and writing, martial arts, exercising in some form, movies, city things, pub trivia, board/strategy games, delicious, delicious craft beer, etc.

My newest plan is to begin rock climbing. I don't know where to start. Probably at rocks.

I don't follow sports, so if you're one of the 90% of women on this site looking for a Boston sports fan, you've got the wrong guy. However, I will stare blankly at the TV when a game is on and make faces of disappointment or satisfaction in order to blend in.

I'm averaging one visitor per week on this bad boy. Things are looking pretty damn sweet these days for old Dolorousedd83.

In all honesty, I'll probably click on your profile, respond to you, or maybe even want to hang out with you if you own a cat.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a university as a custodian who is secretly a genius and who solves some of the university's most complicated math problems during my night shift. However, I have a chip on my shoulder and have to attend therapy sessions with a bearded, troubled Robin Williams.

Or as a writer. Basically, I write news and feature stories for the university.

Other than that, I work on creative projects (writing, music, etc.).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Putting on sunglasses while slowly walking away from explosions, music, creating, creating music, giving thumbs up in all life's situations, dual finger-gunning, most finger-related signals to be honest, writing, trivia, board games, damnit, I thought I'd have more
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my dreamy eyes. Then, probably my bulging muscles. Or my bulging personality.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If they're going to invent a hovercraft/transportation device, or discover life on other planets, in my lifetime. Realistic ways to become a superhero. (I once asked a woman on this site who said she wanted to be a ninja if she'd like to start a superhero team. She did not respond.)
On a typical Friday night I am

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're a woman, preferably female. You're laid back and intelligent. Most importantly, you have a killer personality. Not an actual disposition to murder. But a great sense of humor.
