Recently divorced, figuring things out, having fun doing it.

I'm raising my kids, which is fun since they are great. I am working on some pretty interesting projects at work and getting ready to transition to a new career path. Not much else, which is sort of why I am on here, I guess.

...talking things over with my kids, listening to people, hanging out with my dog, making family meals, having fun when I go dancing.

I am easy going and unassuming. That's what they say.... to me!

To read: Harry Potter, The Alchemist, The Abyss, and whatever my kids are reading, and to watch: Serenity, Star Wars, Dr. Who, Monty Python, Howl's Moving Castle, Fargo, Braveheart, Tom & Jerry, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Shield, Call the Midwife, Downton Abbey. To eat: I love a good steak (medium-rare), and any exotic cuisine, but I stay true to my California roots and eat a lot of nuts and berries and whole wheat stuff too. To listen: Spanish Guitar generally and I love mambo music (Cachao!), classical, pop, rock n' roll, shag music.

probably watching a movie with my kids. I've just introduced my 11 y/o son to Adam Sandler- he thinks he is pretty funny!

I eat the same breakfast every day.

I have a doctorate and I am tall, so that rules me out for a lot of guys. I am not an intellectual snob by any means, but I think and analyze more than most people- if you find that annoying then you should keep looking :)
