Outside of all that, I'm serious about my career and I've worked hard to obtain the position I'm in currently. Also, I like staying fit, and its important to me. I train/study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing regularly, it has taught me a lot about myself and changed my life.
12/30/2012 - I've been on here a few days now, and at first I judged the people who had the "Replies Often" tag by their name.. Thinking "there must be a reason why they are always searching.." But now, I believe that's my goal. Maybe it's because I'm a dude, and I don't get a ton of "Hey, what's up?'s" or "Nice body..Sup's" on here, well.. the last one wouldn't be so bad.. But you get the idea.
I'm on here to meet new people, I don't care if this site tells me they're 98% my enemy, I'm going to be nice, and talk.. Hoping to met someone new, since we had to at least agree on a few questions, knowing we could possibly learn from each other.
Or at least, that's how I feel after a few days.. Guess it's still kind of early on.. Haha.
01/16/2013 - Well, this site has been an interesting experience for me so far.. no doubt about that! I've talked to quite a few different types of people on here, from "extremely creepy.., but somehow still entertaining" to "Wow, she's pretty interesting.. how did I get her to even reply..?" But all in all, its been fun. Actually, there are some great people on here that I definitely plan to meet up with soon.
01/31/2013 - Well, I felt like this needed another update.., you know, for those "repeat visitors" we all get from time to time. Some make you feel flattered they even checked back again, while others stimulate thoughts around ways someone can find out where you live just from something you said on your OkCupid profile. (Yep, I re-read my profile.. and I caught a few things.. I suggest you all do the same!)
In all seriousness though, I've met some great people already from this site. The biggest key to a successful date is spontaneity.. Don't plan too much, just let things happen. Also, it's better to not send 100 text messages before meeting.. Leaves you with very little to talk about when you meet up. Once you feel a little vibe, go on a date, don't wait too long.
And ladies.., two things. First, it's 2013, you can ask a guy out on a date these days, no one is judging you. Secondly, you gals are quick to judge a guy's first message to you. But, if you think you can do some much better, then you do it. Its not as easy as you think sometimes..
Ah, who am I kidding, it's always pretty easy for you ladies.
Lastly, for the guys out there (who will never even see this profile. ...hopefully), the ladies you want to meet up with, and date more than once, give a fuck about grammar and vocabulary. So, at least run the message through Microsoft Word prior to sending it out. Trust me it helps.. Also look up Oxford comma, it's on about every other girl's profile, and they are right about it.
Alright, well that concludes what somehow turned into an advice column for online dating.. So, yeah.. Go ahead and message me your online dating questions, and I'll answer it on here for you. Makes that first message a little easier.. right? ;)
