I come from a big, but close, family, who mean the world to me...my one claim to fame is that my uncle was the lead singer of "The Stranglers" for 16 years. My friends are also very important - after all, they're the ones who pick me up when I'm down, and put me back together when I fall apart.
I have a very dry, and somewhat sarcastic, sense of humour...however, I can be serious when I need to be. I'm currently working as a Complaints Handler at a local bank, although I don't want to be doing this forever and I'm working hard to progress.
I love history, especially local history, and I love reading about the history of places I've been to, and looking through old photos of places I've lived - I've lost count of how many hours I've wasted looking through the Kent History Forum. I enjoy visiting historic places, and walking around old buildings, wondering what it would have been like to be there during it's heyday.
I'm a bit of a film geek....especially horror, over-the-top action, and GOOD comedy...I couldn't possibly tell you what my favourite film is as there are too many...I also like watching sport, particularly football, rugby and Formula 1. I used to play snooker regularly, but haven't been for a while.
Anyway, that's enough about me...
I'm looking for someone who is happy being themselves, and doesn't take themselves too seriously...I've never been one to judge on looks, and I believe that real love takes time to build - if you make the effort to get to know someone, you will be rewarded....I'd hate to think that I could miss out on meeting the right person by being too picky.
