Hello, world. My name is Kody, and I find what most consider
"ordinary" or "normal" to be boring. I will be turning 23 in August
and I have a beautiful son named Marley, who will be four in May
and is my heart&soul. I love passionately and endlessly, and I
am very affectionate, but if my trust in you is broken, it's one of
the hardest things to rebuild. Music, poetry/literature, philosophy
and knowledge are the things I hold dearest to my heart, next to my
family & significant other. They are what keep me sane.
Poetry is, and always has been, my first true love. I love to read
& analyze, as well as write, all forms of poetry (free/blank
verse, stream of consciousness, etc.), along with lyrics and
literature in general. The human mind is one of the most complex
and interesting mechanisms in existence in my eyes, thus I am
immensely intrigued by psychology as well as sociology.
To me, the best way to experience the most pure, unadulterated,
beautiful form of raw, unbridled creation is to read the writings
of someone who was told they had no rules or guidelines to follow
for their writing.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I am in the process of going back to school, as well as
beginning a position as 1st Assistant Manager at Jimmy John's and
getting back into a residence of my own. While finding my special
someone to spend eternity with is my deepest desire, improving my
financial, spiritual, & psychological state of being so that I
may become the best father I am capable of being to my babyboy is,
and always will be, paramount.
I’m really good at
- Making people laugh
- Analyzing situations (sometimes to the point of
- Holding intelligent, intellectual, in-depth conversations
- Cuddling/Being affectionate
- Discussing/Playing/Anything involving music
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm almost always reading, writing, or singing some part of some
song, and I try to have a lyric for every situation.

The six things I could never do without
- My son
- My family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, my son, the human condition & thought process/psychology,
music, The Chaos Theory, religion & theology (though I'm not
religious), spirituality (I AM very spiritual), the universe, the
afterlife, what other people are thinking, and sometimes I don't
think about anything at all. Sometimes I just observe my thoughts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting at home enthralled in a Netflix marathon, writing/reading,
listening to music, spending time with my family, or just chillin'
out, maxin', relxain' all cool with a couple of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm generally a pretty open person. If there'a anything you would
like to know, feel free to just ask.
You should message me if
You want to. I love meeting new people and having conversations. :)
