I lead a charmed life, good things seem to happen to me. Of course, not so good stuff happens too... but in the end, things always seem to work out for me.

I am active - playing hockey, hiking, going to the gym, traveling, snowboarding, kayaking, camping, scuba - but I also enjoy sitting with a cup of coffee or tea by the fireplace and reading a good book. Novels mostly.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, lived in Chicago for 10 years and San Francisco for the last 15 years. San Francisco is where I belong but there is still a ton of Brooklyn in me.

I bring an intensity to things I do. I'm passionate. When I'm in, I'm all in.

I don't want to save the world, just make it a better place in my little corner of it. I want balance: work, fun, play, family. I think relationships should be easy, happy, passionate, exciting. Definitely exciting but I'm not into drama.

I have my kids (a 14 yr old girl and a 10 yr old boy) 50% of the time and the other 50% I am out taking advantage of all that life in Northern CA and SF have to offer.

I read a ton. I spend lots of time on planes and my favorite activity on a plane is not to watch movies or catch up on email, it is to read. I read anything I can get my hands on but here's a sample of my fav's

Music is always playing. I love alternative rock and roll. I love classical. And everything in between. Not really into live music but I love to have music around me.

Alternating Fridays...
When solo, I am out with friends for dinner or away for the weekend snowboarding, camping, backpacking, traveling.

When with my kids, I am experimenting with cooking something for us. Come join us for a, um, uh culinary treat!

Sometimes I cry when I watch movies. Mostly when I watch Disney movies...
