My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't like fancy things.

I want to cook for you.

I have about as much game as a 5-year-old.

I've been playing drums for 13 years; it's kinda my thing.

I like your lazy eye, your stretchmarks, your asymmetrical face, your love handles... All the things you're self conscious about are probably my favorite things about you.

Let's ride bikes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I ride my bike every day.

I make music, take care of stray cats, write, read, and exercise. Video games are fun sometimes.

I work in the kitchen at Whole Foods. It's pretty amazing. I get paid to cook awesome food with wonderful people at a company that's actively trying to make the world a better place.

(I've been searching for a DnD group for ten years.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Chain smoking
-Appreciating your quirks, flaws, and imperfections
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-Super swole-ass biking legs
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

(It's totally okay to skip this part.)

Books- Mostly hard science fiction. I have a handful of books on sexuality and gender- they're fun to read about.

Movies- The Life Aquatic, Burn After Reading, and Walk Hard are some of my favorites. Also, awkward independent movies with weird plots. You know the ones I'm talking about.

Shows- Pretty much Star Trek TOS and X Files.

Music- Lately I've been listening to Future Islands' Undressed album, Fleetwood Mac, Renaissance Sound, Modest Mouse, Neil Young, and Maps & Atlases. (Death Cab's early albums are a guilty pleasure of mine.)

Food- How much I like something is heavily dependent upon how well it mixes with Sri Racha.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Not including the smartass answers like "oxygen".

-Something to read
-Cold weather
-Pen and paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-What I can do to be a better person and morality in general
-How terrible money is
-Syncopations and polyrhythms
-How fucking beautiful the world is
-How I'm gonna fix all these stray cats
-How awful people are to each other
-How wonderful people are to each other
-Which planets would be the most practical to terraform, interstellar travel, sentient life on other planets
-Gender, sexuality, and how neither are binary

More often I'm either focused on the present or cringing about something stupid I did years ago.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I work until 11. After that, if I'm feeling social, I usually hang out with any number of my awesome neighbors. If not, I stay in and read/drum/netflix/cats.

The only time I really go out on Friday's is if there's a particular show I want to catch or if someone gives me another good reason. The crowds are ridiculous. I'd rather do stuff on a weekday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I recently got over an eating disorder. It was a big deal.
