My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't like fancy things.

I want to cook for you.

I have about as much game as a 5-year-old.

I like your lazy eye, your stretchmarks, your asymmetrical face, your love handles... All the things you're self conscious about are probably my favorite things about you.

Let's ride bikes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Riding my bike, mostly. Next Summer I'm going to take a couple months off of work to bike around the country. Training and saving money for this are the two most important things in my life right now.

I make music, take care of stray cats, write, read, and exercise.

I give private music, usually drum, lessons to kids when I can.

I work in the kitchen at Whole Foods. It's pretty amazing. I get paid to cook awesome food with wonderful people at a company that's actively trying to make the world a better place.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Forgiving
-Empathizing
-Rhythm
-Sincerity
-Chain smoking
-Appreciating your quirks, flaws, and imperfections
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-Helmet
-Beard
-Glasses
-Septum
-Super swole-ass biking legs
-That I act significantly less masculine than I look
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Not including the smartass answers like "oxygen".

-Bicycle
-Something to read
-Cold weather
-Drumsticks
-Pen and paper
-Caaaats
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-What I can do to be a better person and morality in general
-How terrible money is
-Syncopations and polyrhythms
-How I'm gonna fix all these stray cats
-How awful people are to each other
-How wonderful people are to each other
-Gender, sexuality, and how neither are binary

More often I'm either focused on the present or cringing about something stupid I did years ago.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I work until 11, then I usually get a few laps in on either the Rice track or the Heights bike trail. After that, if I'm feeling social, I usually hang out with any number of my awesome neighbors. If not, I stay in and read/drum/netflix/cats.

The only time I really go out on Fridays is if there's a particular show I want to catch or if someone gives me another good reason. The crowds are ridiculous. I'd rather do stuff on a weekday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I struggled with disordered eating for more than half of my life.
