My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Right now, in the trunk of my car, I have:
-science kits (you never know when you'll need to play with magnets or make slime!)
-board games (join me in a game of Avalon? I'm not evil, I swear...)
-a Hyperbole and a Half costume
-a frisbee, a kickball, a volleyball, sidewalk chalk, and a jump rope (recess time!)
-beach blanket/bucket (impromptu sand castle adventures)
-a sled-type thing (I have yet to use this, will happen one day!)

I like to invent words, like guggily, which is that feeling of socks being too big for your feet. I love animals and want to pet all of them(though I'm allergic to quite a few - crossing my fingers that my allergy shots work), and I hoard books (I even read a lot of them!). I'm a bit of nerd. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is my spirit animal.

I'm an ambivert - I like to stay social, but big parties aren't my jam.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just started a job supervising a team that helps adults suffering from severe mental illnesses to transition from inpatient programs to community life. So far, it's a combination of rewarding and terrifying. But it is never boring. Other times I am playing boardgames, writing/blogging, reading, making jewelry (on a steampunk kick), doing a puzzle, singing in my car, or playing with my rats, Fred and George.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Silliness. Reading body language. Volleyball. Baking banana bread. Adding books to the "to read" list on my Goodreads accounts. Math, but apparently no one ever admits this. Remembering people's names. Puzzles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My three heads.

I've been described as silly, sarcastic, and snarky, but those who know me well also know that deep down I'm a big ol' softie.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Assume that I have met the basic physical needs of a human. And that I am not currently on fire.

1. Things to laugh about
2. People to laugh about those things with
3. Books!
4. A comfy pair of sneakers
5. I hate to admit it, but my computer
6. Parentheses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Mental health stuff. Gender issues. Space. How strange words sound if I repeat them over and over. Dinosaurs. How people discovered weird foods (pineapples?). Baby zoo animals.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Board games, Netflixing, dinnering with other nerdy folks, reading, rolling down a hill covered in bubble wrap, writing, doing a puzzle, or making comics. Building a castle maze with my leftover moving boxes.
Other Fridays, I'm taking a nap.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd like to adopt kids eventually. I think this is mostly because I read a lot of books about orphans when I was a kid. And because I've watched that "Miracle of Life" movie, and, well, ow.

I don't own a smartphone. I'm the kind of person who gets sucked into things really easily, and I know that if I had one, I would use it waaaay too often.

I consider myself a feminist. Gasp.
