I just saw this movie and holy crap, it was awesome.
It's basically the offspring that would have came out if "Interview With A Vampire" and "300" got in bed.

The action sequences were very well tongue in cheek and purposefully over the top and made me giggle with delight.

The Rotten Tomatoes scores it low right now at a meager 37%, BUT!

I think those guy's were expecting too much in terms of plot development and character arcs.

Take this for what it is, a summer action movie with higher stakes(pun intended) based on a silly premise, without bringing on the mind-numbing that accompanies most Summer high-scale productions.

So i just went through the first "My best face" report and i saw that someone chose a scenery picture that was pitted against one of mine... <sigh>

Ok so they're out now...

 

When i went in to the doctor i could feel my nerves ratcheting up till the point where the IV started to calm me down.

 

When i sat in the chair i heard drills going off from the adjacent rooms and then i was hooked up to an ekg, and an automatic blood pressure cuff that would periodically take measurements on my arm. So about once every couple minutes it would take it's readings and i was hearing the constant beeping of the heart meter, which i tried to get over 100bpm but only got to 99 :(

 

and then i woke up... I don't know why but suddenly felt overcome with emotion and started crying a bit... How embarrassing. Perhaps i was just glad it was over?

Well i'm having my wisdom teeth removed and it's something that i've been putting off on account of being quite terrified of the notion. Just something about being put to sleep while having work done on me doesn't sit well with me...

Finally this week i drove myself to have another evaluation done and am actually going to go through with it aftergoing through my previous eval and waiting a year and a half later.

I can't believe this but i actually had a panic attack yesterday, but now i just want to get this whole thing over with. And i had plans this weekend but i think getting rid of my toothache is more important at this time.

Maybe i'll post again in my post operation drug induced daze...

Woah what a ride this place is! It's a goth scene bar that i was invited to by a freind who had a coworker that was in a band performing last saturday. They didn't tell me what kind of club it was so i showed up in a rolled up long sleeve shirt, denim pants and black leather shoes... Definitely not looking the scene.

By the end of the night not only was i turned down for an S&M session that my friends had courageously volunteered me for, because of inebriation, but I also danced on a go-go box at a friends request (as if i didn't have enough attention drawn to me because i was practically the only one dressed business casual while others were wearing black and lace), but i also was heckled by a gay guy while eating a hot dog for obvious reasons...

Fun story eh?
I had a blast and i can't wait to go there again!
