My self-summary
This man has greatly inspired my life, "a revolution to loving...disgustingly happy,"

And a poem written in community college that still fits dandy-like:

My Dreams are Un-American

Condition me
To believe in a fallacy
Give false hope of another reality

A never ending desire
A capitalist ideal
Fueled by consumption, waste, envy

Content is a weakness
Scorned as lazy

So chase this dream
A dog nipping at its tail

I don't want that dream
That one thing we can never attain
What I’m doing with my life
I love nature and taking people to visit beautiful places. Photographs are fantastic.

I love two children that are not "mine."

I serve people, so currently I work with individuals with developmental disabilities that are medically fragile and I work with individuals that experience the autism spectrum. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the best people I've ever met, some extremely tragic, and some rather despicable folks simultaneously.

I make all-grain beer and people like to drink it. Making berry-filled mead seems to be a huge hit.

Making bad jokes while attempting amazingly silly feats.
Band is no more but a fond memory of hordes of benefit concerts.
Western Oregon University and Chemeketa I learned from.
Political attention and action living close to the capitol.

Being happy with owning little more than musical things, beer makings, a car that is ugly but reliable, and my VW Bus.
I’m really good at
Making people smile and think, usually simultaneously.

Communication and community service I have a degree in.

Making ales.

Being confident and nice, even when others are not.
The first things people usually notice about me
My ass. It's smart.

That I am not pretentious, and that it's dandy to be yourself too.
The six things I could never do without
Companionship, creative expression, at least two things to obsess about, something uniquely mine, and hope.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The kids. Inequality. Nature. Beer. Work. A lady, if applicable.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working with clients usually.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like poetry. This one covers pretty well how these feel.

Billy Collins poem: Embrace.

You know the cheap parlor trick.
Wrap your arms around your own body
and from the back it looks like
someone is embracing you,
her hands grasping your shirt,
her fingernails teasing your neck.

From the front it is another story.
You never looked so alone,
your crossed elbows and screwy grin.
You could be waiting for a tailor
to fit you for a straitjacket,
one that would hold you really tight.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–34
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You are honest, ornery and assertive.

You like trying different beverages, without getting wasted.

You aren't looking to hook up.

You want to drive and hike to waterfalls.
