My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tonight the super trouper lights are going to blind me, shining like the sun.

I'm from San Francisco, but for now I live in Oklahoma.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After six years of hard labor in Los Angeles, I'm a student again. I used to work in television, and now I'm studying nursing. It's really not that different.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Punctuation. Proof-reading your paper.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I remind some people of Michael J. Fox from Back to the Future, so if that's your idea of Sexiest Man Alive, then hey, you found him.

That's the Power of Love!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books are great. Some of my favorites include Crime & Punishment, Catch 22, Pushkin, Gogol, Mark Twain, Anna Karenina, Invisible Man (Ellison, not Wells) and David Sedaris. I prefer Fitzgerald to Hemingway, in case you were wondering. (The Sun Also Rises? More like My Friends and I Went to Europe and Got Drunk a Lot, if you ask me.)

My favorite film is Raising Arizona, but The Godfather is just about as good. I love almost any offbeat film with strong characters. Think Heavenly Creatures, or something by David Lynch. Miyazaki's films are really something.

I don't watch much television nowadays, but I just wanted to mention that if you happen to like (or remember) The X-Files or Are You Afraid of the Dark, there's a good chance that we'll get along very well.

As far as music goes, I'm a little trapped in the 1960s and 70s. I love classic rock, so I used to buy a lot of records at garage sales for a buck a piece. Some favorites include the Beatles, the Stones, Dylan, the Kinks, Johnny Cash, Otis Redding and Tom Waits — but I have at least something by any artist who was popular in those decades. Try me! My musical knowledge is pretty limited starting around the time people decided cassette tapes sounded better than vinyl, but I do love a few recent bands: The Pixies, The Flaming Lips, Ween and Electric Six. They're recent to me at least.

Food? This is going to shock you, but I like food. Thai, Mexican, Indian, Korean, Cuban, Himalayan—you name it, I eat it. I also love Italian food, but as an Italian, I'm probably more likely to cook it than I am to go out for it. Just warning you.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Purpose, energy, love, family, hope and humor. Do you like how abstract all those were?

My car? Don't need it! Clothes? Don't need 'em!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I am and where I'm going.
Who killed Laura Palmer.
What was I supposed to take away from the movie Labyrinth?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Rocking out to Rebecca Black.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I used to work on reality television.
