Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Douglas Landree and I have no secrets to hide and no reason to
...however I noticed that I'm too analytical and wrote too much
I spend a lot of my time reading, conducting research, constantly
listening to music, and allot some time to my hobbies. These which
are roleplaying, gaming, and doing historical reenactment. Yes, it
is very hot in those uniforms.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Putting one foot in front of the other. It's been difficult, but
rewarding. Immer vorwärts.
But yeah, going to a local CC wanting to get it over with to go to
a Uni here in TN or start a career. I'd like to have a family and
such, but I have to make sure I am able to take care of myself
Also I'm taking care of my godfather and his family on his farm.
It's a big mix between caretaking, yard work, and the best country
cooking by a 93 year old Lady with a capital "L".
I could've stayed out in Reno where I had friends and connections,
but I really wanted to be closer to my father who lives in
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding new music - implying any of it is any good, haha. Holding
up an intellectual conversation. Admitting when I'm wrong (I hate
being foolish or not knowing what I'm talking about). Studying
history. Just me and my silly hobbies, which I have no shortage
Also I can reach things 5/5 bretty gud :DDDD
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My style and how I carry myself. Tall, skinny, blonde, and my big
blue eyes. I'm patient, understanding, and I do what I can to help
others. I have the strength and ability to take on great
responsibilities, so I'm morally obligated to make good on that. I
recieve many criticisms of 'fading in the background' in person,
but a treasure of personality and wit once I'm opened up. :x
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Count of Monte Cristo, Island of Fire, Fahrenheit 451, A
Clockwork Orange, Blood Red Snow, 1984, Storm of Steel, and The
Dark Elf Trilogy. Otherwise it's a load of military history stuff I
read up on.
Movies: Suburbia , Pulp Fiction, Bill &Ted's Excellent
Adventure, The Matrix, Ghost in the Shell, Full Metal Jacket,
Stalingrad , Wristcutters: A Love Story, and Night at the
Roxbury (What's up?)
Music: Mostly stuff in the vein of Post-Punk and Ambient music of
multiple genres. I'm a sucker for 80s music. More off the wall shit
I listen to regularly is BM, EBM, Goth Rock/Deathrock, DARK PREP
(inside joke), Hardcore Punk, Thrash, Retrowave, and Prog Metal.
Honestly, there's a whole mess of different shit I listen to that'd
take up this whole category. I guess as long as it isn't Crunkcore
or the trash most people blast on their speakers in the Food Lion
Foods: Turkey Sandwiches, Pasta, Beef Stroganoff, Chicken and Rice
with some Veggies, Soft Tacos, German food, and really anything
hearty and tasteful like traditional Southern cooking. Good Mexican
food is a mandatory. Fruit helps cleanse the soul. My weakness is I
really don't care much for spicy foods. x_x I also love foreign
chocolates. ^_^ As far as alcohol goes, German beers are amazing
and I prefer strong drinks that have good mixes. I dont drink too
often and generally will in company of others. Schnapps, bitte!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(Insert nerdy hobby here)
Walking or driving at night where there's not a soul in sight and
everything is just so peaceful and calm.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Personality types. My appearance. The past, present, and future.
Trying to find new perspectives on different subjects and
situations. The paranormal and supernatural. The female body (How
lovely it is). Ways to get closer to God.
Saving, planning, price checks, double price checks, triple price
checks, fantasizing about item, more price checks, and pressing buy
with mixed emotions of guilt, glee, and insatiable hunger for more
dirty old wool. Military strategies and battlefield tactics.
Rediscovering old music interests as well as finding new
All of my pictures stink because I never get pictures taken of me.
I'm like a NPC that makes sure everyone else has pictures taken. I
don't mind that other than it means shittier pictures of me and
stupid ass selfies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spacing out and listening to music at home. Maybe playing something
on the computer if I'm not doing some reading. I do watch them
chink toons from time to time, so I'm a weeb. I also like to draw
pixel art and that is a huge time-sink. I used to have a friend or
two over so we could play D&D or just go out to a restaurant of
some sort and play pool back when I lived in Reno. I'd love to get
back to tabletop RPGs. Really, I don't care what I do with my
company as long as the company is good. I'm a bit of an
anti-socialite, but that's just how things are. Living under a rock
is very comfortable and fun. Lame, right?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very honest, even if it makes me seem cold. I'm very forgetful.
I'm usually a third wheel in the group. I think a LOT which means I
can sometimes weigh my options for too long. I am deathly afraid of
bugs and sharks, but I'm doing my damnedest to at least cope with
the phobias - which is actually working out. Also the body's
reaction to blood makes me lightheaded. Unsure how to fix
I'm also terribly shy sometimes. OK, most of the time. So that way
you know you've got me when I blush like mad. ;~;
I'm of the thought that a person should never sign themselves up
for something if they can't defend their choices. Living my life
with honesty and conviction has served me well.
My first name backwards sounds like "It's all good".

is a T-shirt of a band no one's heard of.
I'm terrible at making this profile relate to me. It's just better
to PM me if you really want to know about me. Also, updating is a
pain and usually needed.
Not really sure what I want out of this site still being on here
for quite some time. I don't mind just chatting. Let me be another
distraction in your day if you'll be one in mine.
