I like to stay active, not big on sitting around the house. I try to get to movies with my friends at least once a week, and get out and about for whatever reason. I'm always looking for something fun and new to get into.

I'm also somewhat of a nomad. I haven't stayed in the same place for more than 2 years. That's kinda fun and all but it sucks that just when I make some great friends I end up moving. Then I get to meet a bunch more great friends. I was born in Montgomery, AL. Grew up as a kid in Detroit,MI. Moved to Jackson, MI for a few years. Then back to Detroit for a few more, then off to boarding school for 2 years, not like bad kid boarding school, more like prep school kinda boarding school. After highschool it was off to San Francisco for about 2 years. Then to Orlando for about 2 years. Then a while in Austin,TX. Now it looks like I'll be calling Dundee home for awhile. Finally ended up venturing outside the US, hopefully I'll have a chance to visit more of Europe while I'm here..

Working at my dream job and trying to rise up the ranks. Got a job out of school at a pretty well known game publisher so get to spend my days making videogames. It's great because as long as my job is fun it never feels like work.

Outside of work I love checking out new places and running into new and interesting people. I've had a goal of going somewhere new at least once a week, so far I've been able to keep it going.

Making the best of a situation. Which translates to a lot of things. If I'm not enjoying my job I'm gonna find a new one ASAP, if I'm not enjoying a party I'll do my part to liven things up. I'm usually the guy in the group that doesn't care where we go out to eat or party because I know that I can usually find something to enjoy about wherever I end up. You'll never find me sitting alone in a corner just waiting for the night to end, I'm the guy on the dance floor making the best of the night.

Making new friends, which I guess comes from moving around a lot and being an only child. I've always had to go out and find ways to entertain myself and I've often had to rebuild a network of friends and hang out spots whenever I've moved.

Along with making new friends I'm pretty good at games, be it board games, video games, or actual sports. Which is really useful for someone who designs them for a living.

Lastly, taking pictures. I've been told this a few times. I think it's cuz as soon as I see a camera pointed my way I'm gonna put on a smile. The day I got my drivers license the lady said I was the only person all day who actually smiled for their picture.

My smile, then after the first few sentences people usually describe me as 'cool', which definitely isn't a bad thing but I haven't completely figured out what being 'cool' really boils down too. As far I can tell it's got something to do with the fact that I never take things to seriously.

Books - World War Z, zombies are probably the only horror thing that actually kinda scares me.

Movies - Hitch, 300, Superbad, American Beauty, Ray, Terminator 1,2 & 3(but not 4, it can go crawl in a whole somewhere)......the list goes on and on. Mostly action, action/comdies, sci-fi, horror, suspense, I like lots of movies. I usually enjoy romantic comedies, hence Hitch being at the top of the list but I always leave the movie feeling like "If only falling in love was really that funny and entertaining."

Music - Mostly Hip-hop and R&B, some neo-soul, some pop, some of whatever you classify Nora Jones and Corrine Bailey-Rae under. Flight of the Conchords.

Food - Steak and Asian dishes(Usually the Americanized stuff, I'm looking at you P.F. Chang's). Which is why I usually go crazy over some Teriyaki steak. Jamba Juice, strawberries, bread(I really like bread, especially garlic bread) and I'll happily finish any meal with a slice of Key Lime Pie.

My independence, an adventurous spirit.....Also the usual stuff, like family, friends, the internet; it's so true that I can't just not mention it. Truthfully though my family and friends are what make life worth living.

Relationships; The immediate future(basically what am I going to be doing tonight after work);

Inventions/Plans for getting insanely filthy rich. I've got some great bar ideas that I think would make for an awesome bar one day. Too bad it takes a small fortune to even start one.

I apparently enjoy pondering the questions of life, time travel, the universe and sociology. Ok, I wouldn't say I think about these things a lot but I sure have a lot of books about them on my bookshelf so I must.

Going out with friends to a party, a bar or to just hang out together and joke around. I'm not a fan of staying home on a weekend night...well not when I'm single. I love having the weekend to go out and meet new people and check out new places.

I'm actually probably doing these things on any given night. On a Friday night I'd probably just start a little later since going to bed at a decent time wouldn't matter. I'm young enough to have the energy for it and I'll get a good nights sleep when I'm dead.
