Just a Kiwi girl hanging out in the big smoke. I love a good laugh, cherish my amazing friends and family and enjoy a good night out. I don't take life (or myself) too seriously. I think I am generally a very happy, cheerful and easy going person. Very independent and on occasions very stubborn! But I know when I am wrong and sometimes, if you're lucky, I will even admit it. I am always willing to listen to others opinions because they are nearly always more interesting than mine. I enjoy stirring people up a bit with a little bit of playful teasing. Mwahahahaha
But really I am a nice person.... honestly... my Mum thinks I'm cool.

Things I appreciate:
Good spelling and grammar!
Someone who can give as good as they get.
Scrubbing really dirty things - it's so satisfying.
Karaoke and stupid dancing... the stupider the better
Making up words... like stupider...

Dislikes:
Negative and over critical people. I always try to look for the best in people.
Know it alls who take life way too seriously
Rudeness, pettiness and selfishness. But I suppose no one likes those things...
Pyjamas that end up all bunched up at your knees...
LOL! LMAO! OMG!! etc. Don't. Just don't.

I love to travel, explore new places and learn new things.
My job is very up and down- one day I love it, the next I'm job hunting! But I do get decent holidays which helps with the traveling thing!

asking odd questions, singing, making up songs to sing, drinking gin, making powerpoints... what? That's a skill!

Books: The Power of One, Pride and Prejudice, Anything by Bill Bryson or Bryce Courtney. Also really like Wilbur Smith (old school adventure!), The Long Way Down, The Long Way Round, The Long Way Up (ok I made that one up but the other two are great!)

Movies: Anchorman, Amelie, The Princess Bride, It's a Wonderful Life, The Labyrinth, Love Actually, Life is Beautiful, Forrest Gump, The Notebook.

Shows: Come Dine with Me (my secret shame!) QI, Band of Brothers, Friends, The IT Crowd, The Simpsons, Shameless, Never Mind The Buzzcocks. I hate the E! channel. With a vengeance!

Music: All sorts of music from country to opera to top 20. I like songs not a style. Currently girl crushing hard on Emeli Sande.

Food: I loooove Mexican food! And Japanese! And Thai! Ok I just love food. However, day to day I eat pretty much meat and 10 veg.

How does my flatmate get THAT much water on the bathroom floor? What am I going to do on the weekend? Should I move to a different country? Could I write a book?
