My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a student and straphanger (person who ride busses or subways all the time) from Seattle. In in town for the summer. As such I am looking for a short term thing.

Recently I've been thinking about my personal philosophy and what I want to do with my life.

I'm introverted, wonky, nerdy and have a grand (if utopic) vision of of the human race's future.

I'm INTP for those who care.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I go to UC San Diego where I'm a Political Science major who is specializing in Public Policy.

I'm thinking about grad school in a couple years but I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with it. Public policy research is my top choice right now, but I could see myself as a diplomat, bureaucrat, or in academia.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Reading, I have great reading comprehension.
- Public speaking, which was hard won by experience.
- Googling, I have strong Google-fu which comes in handy at school.
- Arguing, I don't necessarily like formal debates, but I thrive in discussion.
- Speculation
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Perhaps that I'm tall. I don't usually ask people what they notice about me so I don't know what they notice first.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- The internet. (I, like many, am kind of an addict.)
- A device to browse said internet.
- At least one interesting person to talk to, preferably several.
- A place to relax.
- Access to Books and Music
- Government (My major would be totally pointless in an anarchy.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Philosophy, politics and economics. I especially love to guess what the future may hold for human societies. I have a blog about this stuff at http://astrosocialist.com/.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My Friday's have been interesting over the last month. I've gone out with friends, tried to help push the future of Light Rail on the Eastside in a better direction and got stood up and took my current profile picture.

I swear I typically spend my friday's browsing the internet, reading or watching shows on Netflix, it's just been a weird month.

I'm going through Star Trek TNG right now.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to wear out my shoes in a hurry. My last pair of shoes to wear out were less than a month old.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are looking for a summer friend or fling.

I rarely see a girl make the first move and think it makes an interesting change of pace.

Also if you have any ideas about humanity's future I'd love to hear them.
