My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After all these years, I'm still pretty miffed that Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home.

I was a quiet nerd when I was young, but I went in the complete opposite direction once I found music. I still have that nerdy side though.

My inner monologue will just... not.. shut.. up..

I have an off the wall sense of humor flavored with a heavy dose of sarcasm. It is both my best and worst attribute depending on who you ask.

I used to ride my bike everywhere, but then I realized motorists have a searing hatred for cyclists. I value my life, so now I just ride on bike trails.

I play hockey and tennis. Generally not at the same time.

I'm a huge Blackhawks and Bears fan. Baseball kinda bores me these days, and I just kinda pretend the NBA doesn't exist.

I play guitar and bass. Mostly just for my own amusement these days.

I go to a lot of concerts, but I'd really like to find someone who wants to go to plays with me.

Rooftop decks are the greatest thing ever.

I hate bros and Wrigleyville is soul crushing... Aside from the Gingerman. That place is okay. (Apparently it was bought out recently and is now known as the G Man. This distresses me.)

That is all.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working and saving up so I can take half a year off and just travel across Europe.

I also write on the side.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Awkward "asses-out" hugs. You know the ones I'm talking about? Yeah, I'm a champ at those.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Tall, shaggy hair, blue eyes. Probably in that order.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read a lot, but I'm picky about the books I read. If you recommend me a book, I will smile politely and most likely never even attempt to read said book. Don't take it personally.

Joss Whedon. This goes for movies and tv shows.

I could watch House MD and Community all day and be perfectly content.

Oh, and every year I watch the entirety of Lost. Sawyer > Jack.

I could also watch nothing but documentaries by Louis Theroux for the rest of my life and be perfectly content. I love that man.

Horror movies are generally my favorite, but I have a lot of love for goofy comedies like the Burbs and Joe vs the Volcano. Plus I love anything by Christopher Nolan. The Prestige is probably my favorite movie of all time.

I like rock music. Not Nickelback rock, but bands like the Stones, Oasis, the Dandy Warhols, BRMC, etc. If you have a soft spot in your hear for early/mid 90's alternative, you earn major points with me. To be fair, I love a ridiculous amount of music, from orchestral scores to 4 chord rock, and my list would be a mile long should I attempt to post it. I will talk you ear off about music, and if you care enough, feel free to message me about it.

Every few months I'll put the Beatles on and it's like falling in love for the first time again. If you don't have a band that you can experience this with, you're missing out on one of life's fundamental joys.

I try to eat healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Outside of the basics like food and air, it would have to be music, love, and sunshine. What more do you need?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why so many women on this site have pictures of themselves wearing a fake mustache. I feel like I missed out on some weird fad. Can anyone explain it to me?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Blah blah there is no typical Friday night. Sometimes I go out, sometimes I stay in. You know the drill.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never seen the Goonies.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You read the first line of my profile and know what I'm talking about.

You'd never vote Republican or Libertarian.

You don't take yourself seriously and you'd rather be outside during the summer than sitting inside.

You work to live, you don't live to work.

Most importantly, if adulthood hasn't killed your sense of adventure, we should get along great.
