My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm American , teaching university English in the Black Forest in Southern Germany near the French and Swiss borders. I can see France from my house. I've lived in Europe, South America and the US. More than half my life out of the US.

I spend 3 months a year traveling between Boston, Chicago and Orange County visiting my kids. I plan to settle in Boston or Chicago eventually. If I find someone here on OKC, I'd stay in the US and not go back to Germany.

I'm Sagittarius, Moon in Leo with Leo rising for those who are into those things. Whether you believe in astrology or not, I very much fit the description of a Sag with Moon in Leo.
Here's a link to an astrology book:

My name is Dr Bongos, but you can call me Mark.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Teaching English at Universities here in Germany.

Helping give computer advice on the Web.
Here's a sample: Ask-Leo.com

I love to go to Rock, Jazz, and Blues concerts whenever a good show presents itself.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Helping people with their computers.
Cooking: I make a butt kicking pizza. lasagna, cheesecake and a few other things.
Bongos and congas, and sing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apart from the sexiness I exude ;-), it's probably that I can't take too many things seriously. I'm too sexy for my profile...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music
Classic rock, 60s-70s Woodstock Bands, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Latin

I like so many kinds of music, it's easier to mention what I don't like: techno (just computer generated noise), hip hop, rap and not a fan of Country & Western or opera.

Books
George RR Martin, Kurt Vonnegut, Steven King, Jon Ronson, Malcolm Gladwell, Roland Merullo, Grisham, Naomi Klein, Matt Taibbi .

Movies
Comedies, Political Intrigue, Action Movies. Above all movies that make you think.
Coen Bros, Wes Anderson, David O Russel. Game of Thrones (Books and series, book makes you think a lot more than the series), Woody Allen

Food
Almost anything ethnic. Sea food. Not much from a package.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much people, myself included, are too quick to judge people by what they have before we find our who they are. I saw a man sleeping on a bench by the river walk today and looked and saw he had good clothes and a good backpack, and I thought, Oh, he's not a homeless guy.

I saw this question on OKC and it got me thinking:
Can a person change who they are without betraying who they are?
My Answer and comment:
Yes, it's good to evolve
If it's a choice of reinventing myself in a way pleasing to myself, definitely. It's better than being conformed to the self image society has place on you.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Whatever I feel like doing. No set program.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I thought finding the perfect match in OKC was a matter of chemistry, but it seems like another important factor in finding a match is the right geography.

I really don't make over a $1,000,000. I just wanted to see if you were paying attention.

You want to. After all you never know until we get to know each other. Don't write me unless you're a little crazy or at least have enough of a sense of humor to put up with me. I take humor very seriously.
