Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello there. My name is Kevin and this is where the magic
I could be described as adventurous, good-natured, spontaneous,
Canadian, playfully mischievous, inconceivably easy-going,
understanding, and ruggedly handsome (ok, I made that last one
up). I try to be self-sufficient, healthy, environmentally
conscious, and awesome.
Humour, good conversation, variety, keeping active (both
mentally and physically), communication, kindness, and new
experiences are very important to me. I accept people's quirks with
open arms. You get to be yourself around me.
That's me in a self-summary box.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exploring. Experiencing. Exchanging. Exhaling. Existing
I enjoy anything active; hiking, biking, yoga, traveling, fighting
bears, etc; but I also appreciate lazy Sundays or nights spent
inside curled up with a book, movie, or special someone.
Hobbies include making people smile and challenging the status quo.
I open automatic doors for the elderly and compliment police
officers on their nice costumes.
I've been diagnosed with terminal wanderlust. Thankfully, there is
no cure. Latest adventures include a two-month solo cycling trip
around Scotland / Ireland; a short vacation to Colombia, where I
didn't even get a little bit kidnapped (Seriously Mom, I'm
fine!), and a month in Costa Rica. Just got back from Cuba!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeking out new perspectives, staying healthy, cycling, cooking
mostly delicious things, cuddling, staying up past my bedtime,
expanding my overindulgent spice collection, getting hopelessly
lost (adventure time!), remaining calm under fire, uh...
being fairly tall... Googling? Ok, I ran out of things; you should
move on to the next section.

I always say my favourite book, movie, food, etc. has yet to be
discovered. I'm just going to keep trying new stuff and get back to
you on this one.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Spontaneity / variety / new experiences
- My family / friends
- Mental stimulation
- Improvement of myself and surroundings
- Physical activity
- Purpose and direction
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Wait, I'm supposed to fit the entirety of my thoughts into this
little box? That hardly seems fair.
If you ask nicely I'll share some of my thoughts with you. Be sure
to bring a few of your own so we can trade.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not going to fill this out in an attempt to make you think I'm
dark and mysterious.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Well, I'm sure you're quite capable of finding a reason to spark a
conversation with me all on your own. No topics are off-limits. If
you need a little help, here's some starters;
You value experiences over materialistic things.
You find yourself exploring, traveling, or going on adventures and
think it would be more fun with someone by your side.
The idea of cooking together in a small kitchen amuses you.
You are perfectly imperfect.
You'd like to go for a quiet walk... in the rain.
You take care of your body because bodies are fun.
You have a passport and aren't afraid to use it.
Playing a sport appeals to you more than watching one on TV.
Nature turns you on.
You're a compassionate / adventurous / honest / open-minded / fun /
I pique your interest or you simply just want to. :)
**I will not date anyone who constantly smokes, is overly religious
or intolerant, under 5', or doesn't make any attempt to be active.
I've tried, and it simply doesn't work - sorry!**
To be honest, I'm not terribly fond of the drawn out internet
messaging format. Chemistry is key, and you can't quantify that in
a profile. Propose an activity or a coffee / drinks date and let's
go from there, eh? Chances are neither of us end up being a serial
killer and it all works out brilliantly.
