My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, more than fully employed again and trying my best to get enough dive travel scheduled. I'm just returning from Turks and Caicos. We had a great week of diving - I have never had as much shark contact as I have in the past week. Fifteen dives and at least one shark on each one. This morning's dive had six shark checking us out and swimming with us. Next scheduled diving: Roatan in late spring and possibly Papua New Guinea at the end of the year! - Anyone interested or need a dive buddy for another trip?

Anyway, as the title says, I'm a fat chick-- some people might use terms such as BBW, Full figured, Plus Sized, Person of Size, Generously Proportioned, Rubenesque, or some other term meaning Large. I know for some this will be an absolute deal breaker - too bad, so sad - they will miss out on a great heart combined with lots of fun and passion. Take a look at my photos and decide for yourself whether or not I might be your 'cup of tea.' I'm looking to meet some (a?) new friend(s). Ideally someone who might actually be a scuba diver, or at least enjoy talking about diving and looking at underwater photos. (I'm happy to share your interest, too.) Preferably someone somewhat more liberal than Atila the Hun -- although, this MIGHT be negotiable for someone who finds me REALLY attractive.

I'd like to find a long term, or at least ongoing relationship, but I also recognize that some fun dates could be a great way to start.

I am well educated but self identified working class, cute, blonde, and a fat chick who doesn't take herself too seriously.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a psychologist. I work for a cutting edge elder care community where I train new therapists. There's no need to be concerned, I only "therapize" when someone is paying for it. So, no, I'm not going to analyze you and, no, you don't need to 'be careful what you say in front of me' (at least no more than in front of anyone else.) In addition to the day job, I also teach part time. So that adds up to 'working alot' -- I wouldn't mind a reason to be distracted! I'm looking to add more 'social' to my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a pretty good cook, a great bargain hunter, a bit of an "animal whisperer" and a fanatical warm water scuba diver. I've been told I'm a good kisser - but, perhaps you should judge for yourself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It probably depends on the person... I imagine either my hair, smile or eyes... or maybe the size of my.... uh, never mind... but, in the right situation it might be the red and black wet suit with the funny looking ears... or perhaps the large black dog at my side... I wonder what you might notice?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Well.... favorite depends a bit on the day... Movies - wide range of interests - action (as long as there isn't too much gratuitous violence - James Bond excepted), documentaries, comedies, romantic comedies. Books -I'm still recovering from the overdose of professional reading during grad school - I enjoy mysteries for escapism. Music -- varied, as long as it isn't too loud... jazz, folk, world, singer - song writer, rock (generally somewhat lighter stuff), some classical, some country. It's a plus if it can be heard in small clubs or coffee houses. Not much for rap, hip-hop, opera. Food - most anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Let's see... scuba diving, diet coke, cool breezes, clean sheets, ice cream, reading material, affection, touch.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My last dive trip, my next dive trip, editing underwater photos and anything related to scuba diving!! Other common topics include social issues, creativity, and ways to procrastinate household chores.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
wondering why I didn't make plans earlier in the week. So, with no plans, I focus on laundry, household chores, grading papers and maximizing nap time. Pathetic, I know.... can you save me from myself?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sometimes eat cereal for dinner.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you are available, within my local area, find me attractive and think you might enjoy spending some time with me. Gentlemen: I typically don't respond to messages that say "Hello dear, I will like to know you. Tell me about yourself." If you are interested, let me know why you are interested, or ask a follow up question to something in my profile. Convince me that your message to me isn't just a form message you sent to every female who met a certain criteria.
