My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a true Christian Southern Gentleman, definitely one of the good guys, but still just enough of a bad boy to keep you on your toes. Think of Rhett Butler with just the right mix of Hank Williams Jr. and Jeff Foxworthy with a PH.D.: I say grace and I say ma'am and if you're not into that then frankly my dear if you don't give a damn then you might just be a redneck.

I am a Christian and believe in doing more for God than warming a pew with my behind on Sunday mornings. I put my relationship with God first every day, I find that is a very exciting way to live life, and I am looking for a woman who does the same. I am not a fanatic or a prude, but like the Apostle Paul I am a man ‘of like passions as you.’

I am honest to a fault and have no tolerance for lies or liars. I am not at all into the bar/club scene, I've been there, done that, burned all of the T-shirts a long time ago, they have nothing there I want.

I do like to go out on occasion to dinner, a sporting event, maybe a movie, though I generally prefer quiet romantic evenings at home cuddled up on the sofa together. I believe in romance, passion, and chivalry, I open doors for you (and pretty much anyone else that comes along), I pull your chair out (and push it back in so you don't fall on your butt), I slay dragons (and spiders) and treat you like the lady and the woman you are in every way possible.

I am looking for friends first, but would love to find just the right 'partner in crime' to spend the rest of my life with. When in a committed relationship I am a One Woman Man. So if you think you might be just the right intelligent, attractive, accomplished lady with the intestinal fortitude to hang with me drop me a line. You might just find that I am the one man who can prove to you that we are not all the same.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a Ph.D. in engineering and have been teaching engineering technology and mathematics as a second language at various colleges and universities for the past 20 years + (according to the little icons here cupid doesn't seem to think I'm very scientifically or mathematically inclined, go figure).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Anything that I apply myself to. Except maybe answering all of these okcupid questions . . .
