Welcome all, first off I am Michael. I like to spend leisure time playing video games, hunting ( especially with my bow), or fishing. And just spending time with family and friends. I spent eight years in the army, and I am still re-establishing myself into the area. I am a big fan of classic country music, not the bullcrap ( since someone wanted to censor me) that Nashville is putting out today. I am very loyal to my friends and family, and will go well out of my way to help them when I can. I love to laugh, and always attempt to find humor in any given situation, even at the stupid things I sometimes do.
What I’m doing with my life
work, of course, I am currently working at a Tree Farm and really love it there.
I've also taken to growing out my beard recently
I’m really good at
I've been called a good listener, by friends in the past, but in my opinion I am just really curious, and like to problem solve when I get the chance. That being said I do understand when someone just wants to have their problems heard, and getting a chance to explain things out loud can be quite therapeutic.
Planning ahead, I am almost always planning for the near future, or weighing the pros and cons of possible decisions. thinking about ways a conversation might lead.
The first things people usually notice about me
People often think I am mad, or sad, when they see me due to the expressions on my face, but that's just my ordinary demeanor. I'm neither mad nor happy. Tis just me, probably very focused, but still me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: the Shannara series by Terry Brooks (actually anything by Terry Brooks I've found to be enjoyable), and the Runelords series. wheel of time series, but I haven't gotten around to finishing the series. I've read and continue to read a good bit of mythology from all different cultures, something about mythology is just really appealing to me, not too sure why.
Movies: I am a fan of pretty much any horror movie, particularly zombie movies, Serenity was particularly awesome, and Sci-Fi movies on general, Fight club, immortals, equilibrium, walk the line. etc.
Tv shows: House, how I met your mother, the big bang theory, supernatural, true blood, sanctuary, Stargate (all of them), Spartacus, eureka, doctor who. The list goes on, but why bore you with so much nonsense.
Music: As I said before, mostly classic country, anything from 1920-1980 ish, and some classic rock. Upon occasion I'll listen to alternative rock, but such an occasion occurs once in a blue moon.
Food: hotwings! Sushi, steak, menudo, baked potato stuffed with bbq and all the fixins, a good cheese burger, mexican, you name it and I'll eat it.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order:
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever happens to be on my mind that day. For the most part different apocalyptic events that could happen, and my response to them.
My schedule and plans for the next few days, to ensure I don't forget anything.
On a typical Friday night I am
There is no such thing, I could be at home, or over at my grandparents by lake Somerville, playing some various games, or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I REALLY can't dance.
